The Crown of Gondor was kept in The Houses of the Dead in Rath Dinen in Minas Tirith.

Yes, King Eärnur left the crown in his father's, King Eärnil's, tomb when he went to face the Lord of Morgul (the Witchking). And there it stayed until King Elessar was crowned, "guarded" by the king, for Eärnur never returned.
Good job, piosenniel, please proceed! [ March 23, 2003: Message edited by: Annunfuiniel ]

Instead of posting a one word post like 'bump', you should restart the thread. It has been over 10 days, so you don't have to wait for Mauwurz if you wish to restart this thread. Usually whoever wants to can just restart a thread, but so you get into the habit of things, you should ask the next question Gilraën.

If it had been 10 days I would have. It was only 8 days but I will ask a question.
Who was the smith that forged Angrist and what other famous blade did he smith?

The smith was Telchar, dwarven-smith from Nogrod and the other sword was Narsil, in later days Anduril.

That's quite a broad question...
I'll go with Orome on this one, for his sheer splendor at their first sighting of him. |

No, not what I wanted to hear. It's broad, but it's something like a quote... it states (where I got this question) that:.... filled the Elves with amazement because...
Try on

From Nogrod and Belegost the Naugrim came forth into Beleriand; and the Elves were filled with amazement, for they had believed themselves to be the only living things in Middle-Earth that spoke with words or wrought with hands, and that all others were but birds and beasts. But they could understand no word of the tongue of the Naugrim, which to their ears was cumbrous and unlovely; and few ever of the Eldar have achieved the mastery of it.
Is that what you meant?
