The only sound word I can get out of that is Elentári, ...Wase lent Arizona..., but I don't see how that fits the clues though.
Well, isn't the first time I'm stumped. [ March 07, 2003: Message edited by: Annunfuiniel ]

Well done Annunfuiniel. Sorry but I didn't put in a clue. Your turn.

Thank you, Silmarien. That was almost like a riddle, I so wanted to find either Narsil, Telchar or some other sword or smith in it! Well, this one will be too obvious...
Fingon's call "Aurë!" lingered still in the air when the answer came: "Auta i lómë!". And the night was over.

<font face="Trebuchet MS" size=4 color="#FFFFFF">There were seven doors in the dimly lit chamber, all with symbols on them. On the first door (which I will call door A) was a star, and it seemed to be a happy door. Door B was sad, and had a triangle on it. Door C was scared and had a square with a dot in the middle of it. Door D was hyperactive, and had a stick-person on it. Door E was consoling, and had a spiral on it. Door F was obsessive and had a circle on it, a thick circle rather like...a ring. And, Finally, Door G was wet, as if it had just been in water, and had waves on it.
Now, our intrepid adventurer got doors F and G confused, and had lots of problems getting them the right way round again. There are two words hidden... ("Only two? In that great big hunk of text?" I hear you cry) Good Luck! You sure do need it. And, this isn't a straightforward word in words, its a "Cryptic Clue"

Wow! Excellent clue, LePetitChoux.
I have spent ages trying to work this out (never could resist cryptic clues), so I hope it's right ... Frodo and Drogo, anagrams of Door F and Door G.

Hehe. I enjoyed that one. Here's another (semi) cryptic clue:
The wandering elf was hidden. He trod lightly, but keen eyes and a quick wit might have observed him as he returned.

Thanks! This one will follow the line of cryptic clues...
The second and fourth books of the LoTR were of no use until I pieced its information with the UT. Then Ulmo's influence emerged to me in its full potential.

I was reading a book of the Third Age as the sun set in the west, and as I watched it march toward the horizon it turned the evening sky red.

Quite so. The clue was in it being a "book of the Third Age". Okay, so I'm stretching.
Carry on.

Oh good I haven't gotten to do one of these in awhile...
"Whenever one thinks of William Shakespeare, the famous quote of Hamlet comes to mind. 'To be or not to be: that is the question.' I personally prefer to quote Juliet and say 'What's in a name? that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet.'"
