G is for Gothmog, well two Gothmogs in fact - one Lord of the Balrogs, and one Lieutenant of Minas Morgul (possibly a Nazgul, but then again possibly not ).

I for Isildur's Bane
A name for the One Ring. After Sauron's defeat in the War of the Last Alliance, Isildur Elendil's son took the Ring, and later journeyed northward with it to his kingdom of Arnor. Ambushed by Orcs, Isildur's small force was cut down, and he fled the battle wearing the Ring. It slipped from his finger, though, and so both Isildur and the Ring were lost.

Wraiths: The 9 men to whom Sauron gave the nine rings of men too. They wore these rings for so long that they were more in the hidden wraith-world than Middle-earth.

What's happened? There seem to be lots of un-evil things up there. (Ulmo and Varda evil?)
So, X hey? X-tra specially nasty Orcs.

Eh? There be no settlement at Paladin, unless he be in the Midgewater Marshes and hosting a colony of them pesky Neekerbreekers.
How about P for Pelargir, port of Gondor where Aragorn routed the Corsairs. (Arwen, if you check back to the beginning of this alphabetical sequence, you will see that the theme is towns, cities and villages. ) [ July 09, 2003: Message edited by: The Saucepan Man ]
