I do know I've read it just having a horrible horrible mind block.... is it Frodo to Gandalf? That doesn't sound right but this block is annoying me so thats the best I can do sadly

Mithalwen, the 'beard-curling' quote is found toward the very end of the chapter entitled Flotsam and Jetsam. Pippen is saying that Gandalf's beard would curl if he had ent-draught to drink!
