EDITED:

Nova: Your post is fine by my standards.

Rochil: Remember to remove your signiture from that save.

Frea's Group: Now that you are in Bree, spend more time looking for Brytta's group than in Tharbad. Ask patrons for information, look around... perhaps even apprehend a man that looks like Brytta, and then run off while he yells for help.

Brytta's Group: Along the walk, you can include your personal thoughts about Awyrgan and who might be following us.

Carrun will discuss his route, and then we can be on the old south road in no time.

Actually, I think the Forgoils are in Tharbad - I will do a post to get us to Bree and the Inn today.

Hama and the Forgoils are now at the Prancing Pony.

Can you all do a post about being there and looking for news of Brytta and his party and whatever else you would like to run with!

I like how Hama is getting suspicious of the Forgoils!

Poor Archim - kind of an oily, unlikable guy isn't he?

Hi!

I am really sorry to inform you that Orofaniel, my best friend in real life, has got a virus on her computer. The virus is like the worst ever. I was to tell from her that someone has to set up saves for her character, Graitwa, if you feel the he has to take part.

As for me, I am not really allowed on the computer either since the virus attacked over 30 000 computers in one day! I'll try to post when I am at the library in the weekends; this counts also for Orofaniel.

In the meanwhile you could do whatever you'd like with Liol. Orofaniel is also giving you the right to do whatever you want with her character Graitwa.

The virus has hopefully lost its power by 10th of September, I believe Flight from Rohan ends at 16th, which means both of us can join again the last week, if that's appropriate.

We are both very very sorry, and hope it will work out fine!

Thanks,

Nova, (Oro)

Would you please set up SAVES for us, when you feel the need of them. And we promise to fill them in the weekends or when we are back. (We really love this RPG so we would love to be able to continue...)

I'm now at a library computer, typing as fast as I can. My time is soon up. However I have filled in my 'save'. And as Nova already said, please set up 'saves' for us when you feel that it's needed.

Nova and Oro

Just sent you PM's. I'll carry Graitwa until you get back, Oro. And Envinyatar will keep Liol going until Nova can return.

Just put your posts here on the discussion thread if you can - tell me exactly what post you want them to follow: Name of poster, date, time of their post - I'll attach your post to their post and put your name at the head of it.

See you both soon, I hope!!!

Nova, Oro,

Tough luck! I hope you guys hurry back. Fréa is especially going to miss his older brother!

Everybody,

I finished my post. Fréa is a bad guy but he's not all bad. He's still got a soft spot for his brothers, especially his younger brother.

I still want to get a post up where Fréa goes and tries to talk to the mayor so I saved a space. Either I'll put it there or later on the thread.

Brytta's Party:

There was a change in the route.

Awyrgan will lead the group north, following a course east of the Old South Road.

Therefore, Awyrgan will remain with us until the end of the game, after reaching the north downs above bree.

Everyone else:

It will take about a week for Brytta and co. to pass Bree (east of it!!). Therefore, the exit of Bree made by Frea's group should coincide with this passage.

Himaran,

Sorry. Could you clarify that? Do you mean Fréa and company should ride east from Bree one week from now real time (which would be September 1)? Or one week from now game time ? Game time could vary according to how fast or slow we game....

Also, once we ride out east of Bree and see you on the road, is this where we get to give chase and fight?

I think Archim could get into a lot of trouble in Bree if we get to stay there till September 1 real time!

Please clarify.

Dain: I did mean REAL TIME.

It will not take long in real time for us to get north, but I am busy this week and thus will give us until september first to reach the north downs.

Evinyatar: In your last post, it appeared as if we are going to the OSR. We are not; there was a mistake in one of my posts.

EVERYONE: BRYTTA'S GROUP IS HEADING DUE NORTH, AND WILL NOT GO TO THE OLD SOUTH ROAD.

Several people have put in saves along the journey. Therefore, I find it suitable to move us to the next location: The .....

Frea's Group: You may continue your futile attempts to gather information about Brytta at Bree until we have reached the North Downs. Then you need to head north at double speed.

Can someone else do a post that gets the Forgoil band out on the road heading north? Pio or Tinuviel?

Hi everyone!

I don't know if I'll have computer access after the 10th I'm afraid. I have, as oro been attacked by a virus, and I don't know how long it will be before I can go on again.

However I can post at Saturday the 13th. If I do not post anything on Sunday the 14th, anyone is welcome to take over my character, Liol, completely.

I am really really sorry.

Thanks!

Dain hurrying to post on the computer at lunch....

Hey, this virus is really lousy! I'm really sorry everybody.

Fréa is taking his group for a side trip over to the northern Weather Hills because Archim was a real pest! However, he is very leary about this side trip and suspects something will go wrong.

Pio, can you or someone else with a healthy computer who's not grounded invent a brief complication to while away a few hours on the road before we turn back and head up to Fornost?

OK - the Forgoils and Hama are at the base of the Weather Hills. Four ruffians on foot have just stood up from the tall grass and ringed them - two with swords, two with spears. They are attempting to rob the Forgoils and Hama and will most likely kill them.

Archim has struck back at one of them, and we are now engaged in battle. Feel free to do one of them in or drive your opponent off.

We should then probably turn back west and high tail it for Deadmen's Dike (Fornost) and the North Downs.

You are quite correct. Brytta, Awyrgan and their pals are relaxing in the shade of the North Downs just east of Fornost.

Frea & Co. can probably ask someone at Fornost, as they were most likely spotted heading north.

A battle will ensue, but Carrun and I are still discussing who will die, if anyone does.

Whoops, I also did a post on word and then came back to paste it in.. That's when I saw your note. Is there any way this could go underneath yours?

Fréa doesn't take out any bandits. He just stands by and lets the others do the work!!

I alswanted to show Fréa is starting to "lose" it. (I hope it's ok I used Archim for a minute.)

Pio, if you need me to edit I will or you could do that. If it doesn't work, that's fine. We can just leave mine on the discussion thread and go on from there.

The important part of my post starts with how he calls them 'curs'. The stuff before is just an excuse and could certainly be edited.

Dain

********************************************

Dain's post

With two of the bandits so readily dispatched, the remaining ruffians took off racing for the hills at breakneck speed, as they left their fallen companions behind on the ground. When it looked as if Hama might also decide to give chase and try to emulate Archim’s deed, Fréa raised his hand in warning and abruptly drew the band to a halt, throwing an angry glance over his shoulder. “You worthless curs, all of you.” Fréa bellowed out his rage. “We’ve lost enough time on this fool’s errand! If you’d listened to me, this would never have happened. We’d be far north by now, and Brytta would be in our grasp.”

Archim turned around and froze, “Cur? You dared call me a cur? Your own brother! Who saved your neck back there? Fréa, I did not see you take down any bandits. If Graitwa and I hadn’t saved your skin, you’d be lying in the dirt cold and stiff. If anyone deserves the name of “cowardly cur”, it is you, not me.”

Fréa felt his rage boil over as he automatically grabbed for the hilt of his sword and brandished it at his younger brother, swinging it wildly in his direction. Only his blind madness caused the blow to go astray and swipe harmlessly down into the grass. At this point, Hama intervened, recklessly positioning his own body between those of the two feuding brothers, crying out at them to stop, since Brytta and his band would go unpunished if the Forgoils managed to kill each other first.

These words jerked Fréa back to reality as he shakily slid his sword back within its scabbard and barked at the group to head north and west in the direction of Fornost. He took off at a wild gallop outdistancing his brothers and Hama, listening to the angry voice in his head that raged on. If it was not for Archim’s stupidity, we would be there by now. Why am I blessed with such idiots as brothers?

The discussion thread is showing we have 6 pages from the main menu - but I think someone must have edited off something from it - because we really only have 5 pages followed by a blank screen.

So, try to remember to click on Page 5 to access the Discussion Thread for now - and hopefully, eventually Page 6 will come back up.
