Average Elf. I'm not really the one for power.
Would you rather have to fight Carcharoth or Huan?

What is it about pranking?
And Elladan. Cause I know in advance how Boromir would react... Would you rather be in the company of Elladan, Elrohir, or Arwen for a year?

Well I think it'd be funny to prank people in the fellowship, etc
I'd wanna be with the twins I think they are cool for bros! Would you rather have a singalong or a dancealong with the fellowship? |

A singalong, because I love to sing. =)
Would you rather have to help Gimli or the Sackville-Bagginses adjust to our modern world?

The Sackville-Bagginses, because I think they'd adjust better.
Would you rather break the rules in Rivendell or in Lothlorien?

Rivendell. It has a more adventurous, nauhty, rule-breaking feel to it. Also, Elrond is more "lenient" than Calaborn and Galadriel...
Would you rather be Gollum or Frodo?

What a silly question. Frodo, of course.
Would you rather be Grima or Bill Ferny? |

Bill Ferny. At least he's not shot by hobbits.
Would you rather fight Saruman or Gandalf?

Saruman. What's the point of fighting Gandalf?

Gimli, since it's pointless to argue with Gollum. You'll never know what his final thoughts are on the matter.
Would you rather bother Gandalf or Sauron with "would you rather" questions?

Gandalf. I wouldn't bother Sauron with ANYTHING, even if it was something important, much less with something pointless and annoying like this.
Would you rather spend a night in the Old Forest or in Mirkwood?

Old Forest. It fascinates me more.
Would you rather be a hobbit drowning in the Brandywine or a Man in Anduin?

Aragorn. He has a broader sense of humour, and he just seems more pokable-funable.
Would you rather pair with Aragorn or Faramir when going on a quest that needs 2 people?

Faramir because I have a thing for Gondorian Dśnedain.
Would you rather kiss the Witch King or the Barrow-Wight?

Wight. It's just thematic.
Would you rather be Saruman's or Denethor's personal servant/waiter/etc.?

Mmmn. Saruman seems better, but based on how he treats Grima . . . Plus I'd have to deal with Orcs. So, Denethor, but just barely.
Would you rather be Frodo or Sam? |

Bom, what is it with cats? A cat signature, a cat avatar...
Sam. I don't really know why. Possibly because he feels closer than Frodo. Would you rather talk with Cirdan or with Celeborn about ME?

*whispers* She knows too much. Send in the catsassins.
*ahem* Anyways, I'd rather talk with Cirdan. He was there at Cuivienen, right? Would you rather be trapped in Moria or Shelob's lair? (assuming, of course, that you don't encounter the Balrog). |

Would u rather be cought off guard by Aragorn or Faramir |

Not that I am quite sure what you mean by "caught of guard", but any sensible person would chose Faramir. Aragorn is simply much better at everything.
Who would you rather be rescued from a Wight attack by, Gildor or Tom Bombadil? |

I need to be rescued from the likes of me? What utter nonesense!
Anyways, old Tom. Gildor is for nazgul, Tom is for wights. Would you rather be trapped in a barrow and rescued, or take the longer way around the Downs and never get to see them (but safely continue on your way)?

Hmmn. With the knowledge that I have? The barrow, of course. But with the knowledge of the average Middle Earther, I would certainly take the long way.
Would you rather steal something from Smaug or get into a fight with one of the Ringwraiths? |

Melkor. Angainor and the Void are a better option in my eyes than two midgets with a Ring and nowhere in particular. Plus, I get to have Silmarils! And I'd rip those wings off me Balrogs once and for all!
Would you rather visit Nogrod or Belegost?

I'd rather hear the lament for Boromir. For some reason I always thought that it had a complex melody. Would you rather explore Amon Hen or Amon Lhaw?

I was going down nostalgia lane, looking at all the faces on this thread... And I've decided to revive it, for fun and absolutely no profit.
Rules of the game: the first person asks a "would you rather" question. The next person must answer (with a brief reason), and post the next question. Simple as that. Chess. I would lose, of course, but it would be interesting to see how different people play and how long it takes each of them to beat me. Would you rather hear one of Maglor's songs, or one of Daeron's?

I shall answer despite this being an abandoned thread...
I think I would rather hear songs of Daeron's. If Luthien herself danced to his music, it was probably very fine indeed.
Would you rather find yourself trapped up an evergreen tree by fire, goblins, and evil wolves, or wake up within the cold, clammy, barrow of a wight?
