A few mottos for sub-forums and stuff. Ripped off from Great Britain.
For the Books - Standing on the Shoulders of Giants. For the Werewolf games - Nemo me impune lacessit (Nobody challenges me with impunity). Because it's true. Accuse somebody, and they'll probably suspect you back. For the Quiz Room - Decus et Decus (An ornament and an ornament). Because it's very inactive. For the Translations from the Elvish - Pleidiol wyf im gwlad. Because nobody is quite sure what it's all about. For The Barrow Downs (sub-forum) - Honi soit qui mal y pense (Let he who thinks badly of it be ashamed). Because, while it might appear insignificant, this forum rocks. It's a great place to find out more about Downers, and I love the ingenious ways people think up to bypass the "no non-Tolkien related discussion" rule. |

Attention Barrow-Wight/Underhill -- what would it take to display one of these here on the forum pages, right under the BD icon in the upper left, with a new one popping up each time a new page is displayed, in similar fashion to the LOTR/Hobbit quotes in the upper-right? Is that do-able?
