Very good, Sophia! (Actually I had thought of Aldarion's mother, Almarian, and perhaps Vëantur, his other grandfather, but you found quite enough relatives!) your turn

I dashed off an answer to this, then realised that I didn't have very exact connections at all. Anyway here goes nothing
Felarof 1)Shadowfax (descendant, according to legend) 2) Snowmane (very loosely connected : as in also being ridden by Theoden so possibly descended from Shadowfax. 3) Lightfoot (Snowmane's mum/dad, so same reason as above) 4) Nahar (Orome's horse...it is mentioned in the Silm that Felarof was brought "Out of the West"...you can see I'm reaching here!) Any good? [ April 27, 2003: Message edited by: Eruanna ]

Heehee... that's exactly what I was looking for, although I wasn't counting Nahar, because I couldn't find anything at all that made it more definite than you did, but it's worth a mentioning . I just thought it would be fun to mix it up a little and do an animal, then I realized that it was so inexact.

But.... 1) Tar-Amandil (Great-grandfather) 2) Tar-Elendil (Grandfather) 3) Silmariën (Mother) 4) Tar-Meneldur (Uncle) 5) Tar-Aldarion (Cousin) 6) Vardamir Nólimon (Great-great grandfather) 7) Elros (Tar-Minyatur, Great-great-great grandfather) The only others I could find were Amandil, and Elendil the Tall who were direct descendants.

As I have seen on the books forum, that no other desendents of Faramir and Eowyn seem to be found. I'm asuming in this quess, that great-uncle's and/or great-grandfathers must count even though it seems that has not always been excepted earlier on this thread.
Barahir of Gondor/Ithilien 1) Faramir-grandfather 2) Eowyn-grandmother 3) Boromir-greatuncle 4) Eomer-greatuncle 5) Denethor-greatgrandfather

You got all the relatives that I could find, except for Finduilas (wife of Denethor)
You are right, we try to avoid great-greats and in-laws if we can, but if you check back you will see that sometimes it's impossible (especially when we try to outdo each other...the thread has altered a little since its creation ) You're up next
