R's, if you would
I always seem to only get in here enough to guess a letter, the quote is generally solved by the time I make it back again. Edit: Doesn't this thread need restarted? It's 13 pages long now. [ September 12, 2003: Message edited by: Beren87 ] |

Sorry, Evisse, but this thread needs to be closed as it's becoming too long.
I will start a new one and include your question in the first post. Everyone, please feel free to continue the game there.

Palantir of Fortune 3!!!
Since the last thread became too long, I am opening this thread in order that this ever-popular game may continue.
The rules are simple. The question consists of a series of blanks representing a quote or extract from one of Tolkien's books. The blanks are gradually filled with letters requested by the players until one of the players is able to guess the quote. You can join in requesting letters or make a guess any time. The person who correctly guesses the quote first gets to set the next one. The current question was set by Evisse the Blue, and is as follows: "--- / ---- /---- / -- / ---- / ----- / --/ ----------- / -- / ---------- / ---------- / ---/ ----- / -----!"/----/- /. "--- /-/ ---/----/-/-----'-/----,/---/-----/-----/-/----/---------/----." Oh, and Evisse added: Quote:
