For those who havn't seen it, 1941 was a very funny movie
I was referring to the book 1984. if you want, I can make it "class of 1941" (downgrading you from "brainwashed" to "patriotic")

Orwell's 1984 was the first thing that came into my mind. I just thought, however, that you'd just come up with a random year. Although 1941 means little to me. Unless your referring to the War, witch would mean that it would be in the middle. WWII, as all should know was 1939-1945.
Oh! Unless you think I am American, they plunged into the war in 1941 ish I seem to recall from my history lessons. I am not American. I am British! And proud of it! Jolly good! Tally ho! Pip, Pip! And Bernards your uncle! Anyway, enough of this nonsense. Lets get back on topic.

"What do you remember most about the war?"
I think it's time someone finally added this to their "guess list:"
The Barrow-Wight
I hope you find this more amusing than insulting Mr. Wight.

Littlemanpoet, I like to imagine as a Dwarf poet who stalks Dearon and hurls bricks at him saying "Show me up will you?"
I like putting ridiculous back-stories to things. Take Gandalf_the_white for example, I at first imagined him as a small child, but soon I began to think he was a wizard that wore a white pointy hat. My idea was that he was the original Gandalf the white and when old Olorin took his name he got all annoyed and started following him around and hurling bricks at him.

Farael is a tallish, slimmish, normalish looking person with brown eyes and kind of curly dark hair. He looks vaguely exotic and probably "sensitive" to his surrounding Canadians (think French artist...only...Hispanic). His accent cannot but be very strange: Yo quiero Taco Bell, eh?

Not as far off as you might think. Eye color's off, and height (though not by much)...
Should I find a picture I'm willing to let you all see and post it to Tigerlily's photo page? My only problem is that none of the pictures I like show my glasses, and I wear them all the time now.

Incidentally, I have a very strong image of you, Jenny... I'm not sure why because I don't for everyone. Except these people of course. Anyway: you are of medium height, very slim, with shoulder length sleek brown hair. Dark brown hair. You have green eyes and you wear very red lipstick. You are extremely pale. And no, you don't wear glasses.

I rather think of you as I thought of your character Losse.... very attractive, normal looking girl (not too tall, but then not too short... slim but not anorexic, nice hair but not golden locks).... with a smile that can win over any guy's heart... and that little evil grin that shows that you are plotting something .... whether good or bad we'll find out latear

I did specify "exotic to Canadians". That doesn't take as much work.
EDIT: I just saw that Galadriel comparison. Wow. I kind of like that .

Perky looks just like Hobbes (from Calvin & Hobbes) but has the exact same personality as Calvin. He's rather mischevious and tends to get in trouble a lot, but is very funny.

There is something in that first avatar of Jenny's, that has made an imprint on me anyhow. She must be dark-haired, with all the cost - don't tell me you're a blonde!
And then there is that smile she has... Something I can't quite fathom... Sitting at her desktop, "doing her work" while lingering on the Downs. And the bourgeoise family-thing behind her: a husband and a SUV at the backyard? Just the rebel inside her at the BD?

Quite a lot when I was younger I believe. Quite a few people have made this compariosn, Rune happens to strongly agree with this and has often referred to me as 'Young Harrison'. Perhaps the second most common resemblance people have made. I'm not really sure how I look like Lennon but... *shrug* Possibly the most common, and most accurate even according to me. Many people have said I look a lot like him. As for Jack White- In that pose, and if I grew my hair out longer I guess theres a slight resemblance. Personally I believe Raine Maida, lead singer of Our Lady Peace, resembles me the most - Feel free to picture me as any of those!

That’s weird, Sleepy, because, a lot of people say I look like this guy:
I don't know if anyone outside Blighty knows who that is. Anyway, I've recently found myself imagining Eomer as Brian from Family guy. He looks vaguely Snoopy-ish... I think. Only, he'd wear a kilt. (Dibnah, may you Rest In Peace).

Everyone knows those television show hosts. I imagine most of our BD moderators as those folk. The specifics will come later.

Well, I don't talk much to either of them, but there are two BD'ers I feel like talking about.
In my mind Rune is Marx... or at least, he looks like him. And he smokes pipe, so I guess he's also slightly hobbit-ish. So I guess Rune is a short, rather chubby but in a good way Marx. Also, even though I believe I've never talked to her, The Ka is clearly your good ol' slightly bohemian painter. A look of absent-mindedness veils a really sharp mind and paint stains veil what otherwise would be a rather snappy attire Yes, I always imagine The Ka as a cute painter. Oh! and before I forget... Diamond is obviously Daffy duck in disguise. But she ain't fooling me!!
