Sauruman betrayed both the Wise and the Free, and yet he betrayed Sauron by sending Uruks to take the RIng.

Okay, here's the deal. Gollum probably made lots more than the three promises I had in mind, none of which have been stated on this thread yet. So whoever puts three (reasonable) promises into a single post will get it, even if they aren't the specific three I had in mind (you shouldn't need to stretch too hard here, honest). Okay?
Oh, and if you could label them as kept or unkept, I'd be grateful. |

Okey-dokey . . .
Kept:
Lead the Hobbits to Mordor. Never let Sauron have the Ring. Unkept To be very very good. (Good, sure, but not very very. )

Turin left Nargothrond because he believed Glaurung's lies that his family were dying in Dor-Lomin.

Wow. I last posted in this game seven months ago and I still have a chance. I can't pass it up.
Let's see. When Gollum betrayed Frodo and attacked him in Sammath Naur and saved him by falling in with the Ring.

The new topic is: Horses and ponies. (i.e. half the questions will probably be about Rohan.)
1. In "The Hobbit", how many different mounts does Gandalf ride?

I believe the answer is four. Though one of them doesn't surely count as a horse or pony.

Yes, four it is (At least, that's what I I make it, and it's my quiz.)
Okay, nice easy one: 2. A white horse is the emblem of which country?
