Many thanks for all the birthday greetings and wishes! I did have a very nice day - well, the whole long weekend, as a matter of fact, since Monday was a holiday. Gorgeous weather, pleasant hours at the beach, just enough guests to make it special, yet enough time without obligations to make it relaxing. And yes, Pitchwife, the cake was very delicious - after all, I made it myself!

By the way, does anyone know why the calandar stopped at the end of last year? Did the world end and us not notice or are we on Lorien time?

I may have become a very silent member, but I still visit this lovely place on an almost weekly basis and in all honesty I do not think I could ever truly leave the Downs - once you're dead, you stay dead. Most of the time.

Thanks for mentioning the problem, Mithalwen. One of the admins fixed it; the calendar is now showing the correct month and year.
