Frodo, of course. Like Sam could ever fight Frodo.

How about Aragorn and Eomer against Boromir and Faramir?

I would definitely say Aragorn and Eomer, easily, however Faramir and Boromir would give them a run for their money.

Who would win in a fight between Aragorn and Eomer? Who win in a fight between Boromir and Faramir?

Hmmm id say Aragorn, as much as i would like Éomer to win, i think Aragorn would probably kill him. As for Boromir and Faramir, id say Boromir... i have no other reason than i just like Boromir better...

Well, Eomer and Boromir have the strength advantages but Aragorn and Faramir are both extremely skilled.
Too close to call. What about Rose Cotton and Arwen Undomiel?

Definitely Rosie She has Sam so under her thumb. hehe
How about Manwe and Melkor (uncorrupted and drained of his power)?? Wouldn't want to watch this fight live... probably destroy Middle Earth twiceover. |

Well, Melkor is mightier so he'd win. Unless Manwe shocked everyone, became evil and kicked him in the groin to get the upperhand!
I'd love to hear JR call that finale. Anyway, I digress. Today's fight is Shelob vs Treebeard. Predictions?

I'll go Shelob because she'll suck the life out of Treebeard like Ungoliant did to the Trees of Light... Although the Trees of Light didn't really do much except be giant lamp-posts

Ah, too many. I'll answer the first one, and predict that Shelob and Huan would both be killed in an extremely bloody battle.

Did anyone ever answer that Morgoth versus Manwe question. That would be a fight to shake the earth..lots and lots of people would seriously be wiped into oblivion. In the end they'd probably both annihilate each other. I have to say, since Tolkien said that he was brother to Manwe and almost equal in power, that Morgoth may not outright win this battle. It would also depend on if anyone stepped in on another's behalf. If it was a straight fight..i dunno. I'm being honest here...I'd love for Morgoth to kick Manwe back to the Outer Circles and back again....
How about Sauron versus Gandalf? |

Gandalf, because he'd get my help! (Well, Eonwe's but you know what I mean)

not that they'd fight, really.

At the risk of incurring the ire of Mithalwen, Beren would defeat Aragorn.

So wouldn't even if you tied one hand behind Aragorn's back.
Beren was always swooning, getting his hand bitten off or dying. And let's not forget that he provided the genetic garbage in that lineage

Eowyn vs. Shagrat.
(Might be closer then you'd think).

Definitely Eowyn. She killed the Lord of the Nazgul - what can one orc possibly do against her? Unless Shagrat had his whole regiment behind him...that would change the matter completely.
PS: even though Merry helped her with the Nazgul, still, she's no match for Shagrat.
