Why does Gollum feel betrayed by Frodo? (where aswell <---- hint)

He thinks that Frodo betrayed him at the Forbidden pool because he (massster) promised to not hurt him, and then Faramir's men went and grabbed him, which was mean. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Well...I would assume hunger to be an irritation, which he solved by hunting some goblins with the ring. No idea though, I went through ever section in The Hobbit concerning Gollum, a hint perhaps?

Gollum wore the ring till it tired him. Then he wore it in a pouch next to his skin till it galled him. Then he hid it in a hole in the rock. But he always went back to look at it.
