hopefully this will actually work this time...Eomer is the odd one out because he is of an "inferior"-bad terminology-race: Aragorn is of the Men of Numenor, Legolas is an Elf and Gandalf is Maia, but the Men of Rohan are stated to be of lesser make than those of Numenor...that's my answer at any rate

Eomer? All the others carried baggage during their journeys at some stage. Eomer didn't.

Does it have something to do with the way they rode horses?

Nope and Nope
HINT4: The "baggage" is something specific - it cant be carried on two or three different horses at the same time - sometimes one of them carried "it" along - other times one of the others carried "it" along - one of them never carried "it" along

Gandalf because he never carried Gimli? Not that I remember when Aragorn carried Gimli either . . .

Hmmm
Gimli rode on Shadowfax with Gandalf from Fangorn Forrest to Edoras - Aragorn was odd out because Gimli never was one of his passengers...

Frodo did travel on horse several times - still none of you are correct ...
HINT: It has something to do with what they own/carrie!

That doesn't work, because Glamdring and Sting were forged in Gondolin. Perhaps Guthinwë was the only one not to have existed in the First Age?

The Laurenendorian is right on the mark . Eomer didn't have a sword forged in the 1st age...

Would work, except that then we don't have an odd one out.

OK, I'm just guessing. Is Boromir the odd man out?
Afterall, Boromir was present when Frodo wore the Ring, but Merry, Thorin, Bombur and Oin weren't. (They were, however, present when Bilbo wore the Ring and Boromir wasn't.) NO! That doesn't work. Merry was at the Prancing Pony. YES! It does work. Merry wasn't in the common room - he went for a walk while Frodo was singing and dancing. Alternative: Everyone listed except Boromir has been to Bag End.

Not, I'm afraid, the answer for which I sought.
Guthláf could be added to the list.

No one likes a smart-aleck, Lauren.
I thought maybe he was killed in Moria with Balin.
