Isengard with Merry and Pippin. Even if the start is nasty, in the end there's food, drink and a cool wizard - whereas if I went with Frodo and Sam, all I got would be hunger, thirst, despair and missing fingers.
Would you rather be a Man in the First Age or an Elf in the Third?

Boromir/Legolas. We hear a lot from Legolas/Gimli and Boromir/Aragorn, but not from Boromir/Legolas. It would be interesting to see how they pursuade each other.
Would you rather be Turin or Nienor (regardless of gender)?

Would you rather live in Lake Town or Edoras?

Lake access property is always more valuable. That is, after Smaug does his final belly flop, of course.
Would you rather be on the ship with Elendil sailing to the shores of Middle-earth, or on the ship with Frodo sailing to Valinor?

Aragorn. I prefer Men to Elves.
Would you rather bite off Beren's hand or Frodo's finger? For future reference, it's more fun if you explain your answer briefly.

Aragorn. I don't see Gandalf as a dancing type.
Would you rather face a Nazgul or a Barrow-wight?

Hmm... both are rather interesting deaths. They both accept their death in the end, but Aragorn dies peacefully and Boromir in a fight. Boromir also has a redemption moment in his last breath...
I think Boromir, just because of the "romantic" point of view of dying in a battle. Would you rather defend Helm's deep or Dunharrow in a battle?

I was actually Beren in a WW game some time ago, and Shastanis Tinúviel was my lover. But Frodo is one of my favourite characters.
I'd rather kiss an orc. Think of the taste of Gollum's 500-year-old mouth, especially after all that fish! Besides there's this really hot orc in one of the movies. Would you rather be the Steward or the King?

Aragorn. He would give it back to Frodo on the first chance. We all know what Boromir would do.

Feanor, because I wouldn't want to end my days in Middle Earth in melancholy.
Would you rather be Saruman or Radagast?

Nenya. You know, water. Even though I never understood that logic, Vilya has sapphire (blue = water) and Elrond commands Bruinen, so... But whatever.
During the days of the major final battles of the War of the Ring, would you prefer to be in Minas Tirith or Erebor?

Minas Tirith because my dwarven RPG character of nine years is going home and the new one will be a dashing young nobleman from Minas Tirith - which means that I'm head over heels for all things Gondorian at the moment. Silly reason I know.
Would you rather follow Fëanor, Fingolfin or Finarfin?

Fingolfin. Feanor is to Feanorish, and those who stayed in Aman may be wise but bo-oring.
Would you rather be Bilbo in the "There and Back Again" story, or Merry or Pippin's role in LOTR?

Bilbo, certainly. Every coherent argument I can put together for why it'd be better seems to apply equally to Merry and Pippin, but it just seems like Bilbo gets a generally happier ending.

Morgoth. Why would I even want to fight Fingolfin? I'd rather do something crazy and noble.
Would you rather be a Vanya, Noldo, or Teler?

Aragorn. No particular reason.
Would you rather stay with Bombadil or with Treebeard for a week?

Hmmmmn. I'd probably kill my good twin; his incessant singing might be nice for a few minutes, but it would get annoying fast. On the other hand, Treebeard . . . yeah, no real downsides there.

To answer you, Bom, tell Sauron. It's no great news after all!
Would you rather live in Hobbiton or Bree? (I don't think this was asked before... was it?)

Aragorn, doubtless. He might even teach me some ann-thenath...
Would you rather visit ME for a few days in the beginning of the Second or the Fourth Age?

As for the question - definitely Gandalf! I mean, there is nothing fun about pranking Legolas - but with Gandalf, whoo, that must be exciting! I mean, dangerous and fun to see and try to expect his reactions! Would you rather have Denethor (the Steward) or Thingol as your boss?
