O-kay then, there's a very old word BROG, meaning 'horse'; it got replaced by the more familiar roch, roh. You can derive it by taking 'brogue', which is apparently a shoe, and removing you and he - I mean 'e.

As for #7... I have no idea. I want it to contain glass (or spec) and dry, but can't come up with any S-horses which contain either of them, let alone both.

"Take a bow" has nothing to do with Elrond (it's the straight clue). Vilya is the ring in question, but with "ROND" is part of the cryptic clue (and not by that name).

Looking at it, it makes sense as BROWN + Y. N. (for why not). Not sure what cellar doors have got to do with it. Is she in a cellar in one of the promo photos? I kept looking for actual wood types that might also be tints, but this was much simpler.
