The Reason was thus;

The Days of Future Passed is an Album by the band 'The Moody Blues' (a band I happen to like). In this album, the 7th track is 'Nights in White Satin'. The Barrow Wight's Personal Title is 'Knight in Wight satin'.

I may not be in the SpM league, or anywhere near it, for setting cryptic clues but the word sounds might suggest that you shouldn't be thinking of visuals

This is actually a very straight forward clue......
