ahaha, that's so not what I meant to do. You're quiet intelligent my dear, I know that!
So, it's done. Maybe even completely done, I'm not gonna tell. Narration for lynching/modfire up in moments. Then.....we'll see what happens. Patience. No more posting please.

The sun began to set on our little village yet again. The 5 remaining villagers gathered in the town square. They were just about to discuss when suddenly a large bolt of lightning (even though it was a gorgeous day out) came down and struck Gaurcrist. Uh oh.
So as the sun began to set the now 4 remaining villagers discussed, but only a little bit (bunch of slackers ). Kath was the one who would be lynched today. They led the young lass to the gallows and walked her up the steps. "By killing me you're dooming the village." She said as tears ran down her face. "Or we're winning because you are the final baddie." Inziladun suggested hopefully as he put the noose around her neck. McCaber walked over to the lever and pulled it. The three stood and watched as Kath's completely ordinary and innocent body swayed back and forth. They walked down the steps and all stood in the middle of the town square. The Old Witch, the Robber Bridegroom and Hansel stared at each other, waiting, as the sun set completely. The dead: Nienna - hung Day 1 - ordinary villager Lommy – mauled Night 2 – ordinary villager Mith - lynched Day 2 - Fair Maiden Boro88 – yum, frog legs Night 3 – Frog-Prince Sally – died of shear sorrow Night 3 - Princess Shasta - shot by arrows Day 3 - ordinary villager Gwath – defeated Night 4 – Prince Charming Greenie – chopped up by the Robber Bridegroom middle of Day 4 - Cinderella Aganzir - eaten by the kitties Day 4 – Rumpelstiltskin Izzy – strangled Night 5 – Fairy Godmother Fea - dramatic death scene Day 5 - Ugly Stepsister Mira - trapped through the looking glass Night 6 - Wielder of the looking glass the phantom - died nobly Day 6 - Huntsman Nerwen - killed by the Huntsman Day 6 - Big Bad Wolf Lari - burned up Night 7 - Gretel Gaurcrist - modfire Day 7 - Ordinary Villager Kath - lynched Day 7 - Ordinary Villager The living: Eomer - gravedigger McCaber - humble shopkeeper Inziladun - shruberrer's apprentice It is now Night 8. Be patient. Let's see what happens. No posting please.

The sun set completely and the stars twinkled happily as the moon shone down on the three remaining people. The rest of the night was silent, there was no movement. The Old Witch, the Robber Bridegroom and Hansel stood and stared each other down, waiting to see what would happen.
And it did. A small cackle could be heard from within the circle. The Robber Bridegroom and Hansel turned their heads and watched as his appearance began to change. Within minutes the Old Witch stood before them. “Hahaha, I knew I’d be able to do this.” She cackled as she stared evilly at the two others. “The others all failed, they weren’t strong enough. But I made it. I kept everything going and I succeeded.” She stared back and forth between the two others and pulled out a little stick. She spoke a few random words and pointed it at Hansel. Eomer’s body fell dead on the ground. “Wow, we won!” the Robber Bridegroom said staring at the Old Witch. “How do you know I won’t kill you too?” the Old Witch asked, turning her little wand to point at McCaber. She didn’t get the chance to do anything however, for a loud noise was heard coming in the distance. They both watched as a large carriage, lead by 6 huge black horses arrived in the town square. It came to a halt and after a long, epic moment of complete silence someone stepped out. She was quite beautiful, just like her daughter had been, but way scarier. She walked slowly up to where the Old Witch and Robber Bridegroom stood, her long black gown twirling in the sudden wind and her bright crimson hair flowing all down her back. “Let him be. He did help us when he got hold of Cinderella. Perhaps I shall reward him.” The Evil Queen said smoothly while patting him on the shoulder. She turned to the Old Witch. “You did very well. The village is empty; my people can now keep guard over the castle. Philip’s birthday is today, if he doesn’t wed by midnight I shall gain full control of the kingdom. I have won, and no one can stop me now” She smiled cruelly and took a glance at the castle where Rosamund still slept soundly. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ A few miles away the Prince sat on his horse looking down on the village. The night had grown very cold and it was the darkest he had ever seen. He looked at the castle where he knew Rosamund slept. “I should be down there, marrying her right now.” He said to one of his guards. “We can’t risk it sir.” His guard answered. “Well, I’d rather be dead then standing here watching that women take away my kingdom.” He said grabbing hold of his reigns. “Your Majesty, we’ve gone over this. Even if she takes over there is still hope. The lady is not going anywhere.” His advisor said as he rode up to stand beside him, nodding in the direction of the castle. “But I won’t be king.” Philip said looking back at him. “It’s in your blood; we’ll find another way to get you on that throne. But we cannot risk your life; no matter what. You are our only hope, even when it seems there is none.” He answered. The Prince nodded but he still looked as if he’d ride down that hill any moment. There was a strange sound and suddenly something appeared in front of the Prince and his guards. It was foggy at first but after looking closely it became clear they were ghosts. A large wolf, a beautiful girl and a little man. They hovered there and stared at the Prince with terrible smiles on their faces. The wolf and the girl turned and flew off down towards the village. A strange laughter was heard among the wind as the little man flew forward and stood in front of the Prince. `You lose.’ he whispered before shrieking another laugh and flying between the horses, causing them all to run in the opposite direction of the village. The little man ghost flew down and followed the others to the village. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The three spirits moved up to the castle and watched the Lady Rosamund sleep. They smiled evilly yet again. The Queen was already taking over, starting by having the Lady`s room locked up and guarded. She was leaving her there to give Philip the tiniest bit of hope, more to rub in her victory than anything else. The three defeated baddies were not the only ghosts looking on at the scene. Wilwarin stood in a corner of Rosamund`s room watching her friend sleeping soundly. She shed a silent ghostly tear as she vowed that she would not move on from here until the Prince came and rescued the lady, no matter how long it took. The Queen rewarded the Old Witch and the Robber Bridegroom, and she began making plans for her new kingdom. It seemed hopeless that anything could go back to the peace and happiness that had been in the land before. Even when the night grew dark, and still stayed dark when the sun should have been rising, the chirping of birds could still be heard as the Lady Rosamund slept soundly in her high tower. Perhaps there could still be a happily ever after. The dead: Nienna - hung Day 1 - ordinary villager Lommy – mauled Night 2 – ordinary villager Mith - lynched Day 2 - Fair Maiden Boro88 – yum, frog legs Night 3 – Frog-Prince Sally – died of shear sorrow Night 3 - Princess Shasta - shot by arrows Day 3 - ordinary villager Gwath – defeated Night 4 – Prince Charming Greenie – chopped up by the Robber Bridegroom middle of Day 4 - Cinderella Aganzir - eaten by the kitties Day 4 – Rumpelstiltskin Izzy – strangled Night 5 – Fairy Godmother Fea - dramatic death scene Day 5 - Ugly Stepsister Mira - trapped through the looking glass Night 6 - Wielder of the looking glass the phantom - died nobly Day 6 - Huntsman Nerwen - killed by the Huntsman Day 6 - Big Bad Wolf Lari - burned up Night 7 - Gretel Gaurcrist - modfire Day 7 - Ordinary Villager Kath - lynched Day 7 - Ordinary Villager Eomer – killed by the Old Witch Night 8 - Hansel The living: McCaber - Robber Bridegroom Inziladun - Old Witch BADDIES WIN VILLAGERS LOSE LOVERS LOSE Game summary to follow. Evil Triumphs!!!!
Many thanks for the help, McCaber. Obviously you clinched it. Kath had been onto me for awhile, so I feel I dodged a bullet there. And Gaur helped by courteously allowing himself to be modfired. Agan, Fea, Nerwen, your advice and assistance was an enormous asset. I couldn't have asked for better accomplices for my first game. TO EVIL!!!! Wilwa, I appreciate all your hard work on this. I had a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone. I'd love to play with you all again. You'll probably take me out the first Day next time, though.

Congrats on your first game Inziladun, when I found out who all the baddies were after dying, I wanted to just point out everything that looked suspicious...hindsight is a killer.
So...McCaber, how did you like that robber bridegroom role? hehe Awesome idea for a game wilwa, too bad nasty wolves killed the lover pair so early.

Haha! Once again the McCobbler stands victorious!
Sorry, Nerwen. I totally failed to pick up on you. Good job being so obviously not a wolf you fooled your ally. That final Day was tense. I had a hard time finding the wolf, but when Kath voted Gaur I could tell she was on the level. Inzil, nicely done. I was worried about Gaur showing up late, though. I'd have to pull a TORE (for all you students on WW history) on that last Day. And I found one of the three princesses. But Sally escaped me barely, and I lynched Mith by accident. So at the end all three were dead and I made it through. I count that a bonus victory.

In case anyone is interested my choices for Rumpelstiltskin were:
Boro at the beginning of Day 2 and Lari Sally Gaucrist Gwath in a desperate panic as the noose tightened. I had crossed out Issy from my short list (I was convinced she was evil because she was (to my mind) unfair in her criticism of me) if I had kept her I would have got another guess but I don't think it would have been Aganzir at that point. I went for quieter ones. I really did think this would be hard for the village which is why I was hoping you wouldn't lynch me (never wrongfully lynched record broken at last). Once I quoted Morwen I felt sure the RB would pin me so I was doomed anyway sinceI could not be protected from him, so I obviously thought lynching me was not teh best course but since I was completely wrong about Shasta and Issy and indeed everybody! lynching me was clearly the way to go Anyway very clever concept and I am sorry I didn't get to play longer. |

Oh and Mira, asking you if you had anything you were forgetting before going to bed was completely accidental. I had no idea you had the looking glass.
I looked at my role and it said I was supposed to be getting my princesses guesses, but going late into Day 1 I hadn't received anything. So, I PMed wilwa and asked if I would get them, and I found out my lover was slacking (wilwa's words sally, not mine ). So, I thought my princess was either Mira, Fea, Lari, or sally based on activity. And my question for Mira was to see if she was my princess then she should send in her guess before going to bed. Which Fea pegged down perfectly of course, but I guess I was being that obvious... They didn't even give us a chance Sally, but at least you were saved from McCaber.

Well done, darlings! I loved being a wolf with you, and especially you Inzil did a great job. Plus Cab of course (how come I'm always a wolf when you're the cobbler?).
But if only we had checked Nienna instead of Lommy on night 1 (in the end it was pretty much down between those two)! Izzy (and Mira), you had me so frustrated but ah well - and maybe it was good I died, I would've been terribly busy later. Good work. Thanks for the game, wilwa - it was great.

That was totally amusing. While I admit to being wrong about the phantom, even if I'd known his role for certain, I'd have done exactly what I did with him: make the village want him dead.
I tried, oh how I tried, to get my cohorts to kill Mira the very first night after she said "Fea's evil." And every night after... But it all worked out for the best, so no harm done.

After two days, there were only actually two players who had said anything with any conviction about any specific player: Greenie and Mira. Seers leave hints. I couldn't bring myself to believe that the game's seer would be so careless as to leave no trackable hints, and as soon as I saw her argument and thought quietly to myself that if my Stick was seer, she'd dream of me first... Her saying I'm dead guilty is a bit different than everybody else saying I'm probably guilty, particularly when the seer-options are 50:50 her or someone else.

Well, that last day I was alive was interesting. I was shocked to find myself dead, then I slapped my forhead. Hansel and Gretel! Duh! If I had been more careful I might have revealed earlier, but I wanted to play my cards close as long as possible and force people to actually vote without knowledge.
In my mind that would be what would tell the difference between the Baddie-Cobbler and actual Baddie-Wolves. The Wolves wouldn't be so afraid to vote for me, but the Cobbler would have almost no choice but to try and save me after my behavior the previous two days. The Cobbler is flying completely blind, and I figured that there'd be no way he could take the risk of lynching me after my act, even if he was starting to believe I was innocent. And it worked! McCaber voted with me and Inzil voted against me. Unfortunately our votes weren't what they seemed (something to do with the kids I assume) and I died instead of Nerwen, meaning I had to use my hunt on the second to last wolf that day rather than the last wolf the next night. Oh well. It was still a blast. I've always wanted to go out like that.

The reason I killed Lari was that I had to assume she had chosen me, and her vote had not counted. All she would have had to do the next Day was tell you all and I'd be done. As it turned out, I think she had chosen Eomer, so his vote was double.

I blame myself for that. If I wouldn't have been such a slug and got out of bed at a decent time and made my case earlier in the day (the way I did later in the day), I think I could've gotten on Eomer's wavelength or at least got him to put off voting me for one day. He's played with me a lot and I think he'd have recognized some signs of sincerity. But yeah- when I woke up and saw that his vote was already cast and he was unlikely to return, I was sooooo ticked at myself. The next day as the deadline approached I can't tell you how much I was hoping for Eomer to come riding in on his warg and save the day. But sometimes RL gets in the way of ME-L. Ah well. Risks don't always pay off.

Good game everyone! I didn't really know who to root for especially since I had a wolf talking to me from across the room (Fea) and the seer talking to me over IM... and they were all especially glad that I was dead. Speaking of which...
I DIED ON DAY ONE... AGAIN... thanks guys. And we should just mention that I was one of the few if not the only person who voted for a wolf on that same Day. Just mentioning. Anyway... I guess if we are being technical I was a threat as I could have been turned by a wolf... but no one knew this (not even me). My PM to Wilwa after I died was pretty entertaining and was pretty much me being like: So does the village epically fail or just fail. Ok I'm done complaining now . It really was a great game and I loved watching it. Fabulously played everyone and thanks Wilwa.

I think the lovers have rotten luck. Or rather, good luck that turns rotten.
I got Boro right on my first guess, but died pretty much right after. (Well, not really, but I wasn't able to do much and then I died.) When Mira found Shasta in my game I think she found him at the end of the Day and was dead by the next Dawn.

Anyway, great game everyone! Especially to you, wilwa. And excuse me for a moment while I go "YAY I WAS GIFTED!" and dance around for a little while. I'll say more at some point tomorrow, but for the time being it is sleepy time for little Miras since she has to go into work in the morning to do nasty bad paperwork so she can actually start work. Although before I go, I will say that Lari was absolutely correct when she said she thought I would dream of Izzy after she started attacking me. Consider me predictable like that. Nighty night!

That was a very fun game Wilwa, thanks for hosting!!
It turned out a lot closer than I thought it would be. I'm only going to say a half-whups. Since my loopy guessing was at least partially on target. I thought everyone whom took Agan and Fea at their words on Agan's last day, were completely out of it. Then I remembered, that if I were on the opposite side of it, I'd probably think so to. Then again, who knows. Great game everyone! xD

Good game and I really would never have thought of Inzil as the last wolf!
I failed at the whole adding votes the Day tp died. I sent in Eomer knowing that he was a known innocent...and then everything happened and I tried to get it changed at the last minute to save tp. It didn't work, obviously. But it did work in that we still got a wolf!

Well, that was a fantastic game and thanks to everyone. Congratulations to the victors and especial best wishes to wilwa for the great concept. I had a great time (my post count is ridiculous).
But, ah! what could have been... Especially with retractable votes. Had I been around at the end things might have gone differently. But whatever: my guesses in this game were absolutely, positively, dreadfully wrong. I love werewolf.
