quote:
best one I heared in years about elfs

Helka, the plural is elves. I know that's awfully persnickety, but I use the different plurals to draw a line between Tolkien's elves (and similar characters) and stuff like the Keebler elfs. I have a whole rant on the subject which I will spare you.
Anyway, I can live with the jokes. I mean, most of them are characters I don't particularly like anyway. Except Legolas. Not the Orlando Bloom version. He used to be my fav character until the movies came out and the hordes of screaming fangirls appeared.
Edit: Helka, that picture was blocked due to inappropriate content. Do I really want to know what it was a picture of?
[ May 16, 2003: Message edited by: Tinuviel of Denton ]
[ June 09, 2003: Message edited by: Tinuviel of Denton ]

This is all to do with opinions again. Some think Legolas might seem to act gayish or vain, in their eyes. Whilst other say he is gorgeous or manly (I am one of them , no, not the squealing type though!). But come on.. he does act a little vain.. don’t we all . But I understand where you are coming from, people point fingers too quickly before even looking into it. It happens all the time! As The_Evenstar said
quote:
I think peopel who go on like that need to look into Tolkien's works a little bit more before gabbing on and on!

quote:
With fairy they mean homosexual sweety.

quote:
Helky would know that.

Hehe of course !
[ May 17, 2003: Message edited by: Niluial ]
