Another way to produce mistranslations is to take quote of some translated piece (here is the Russian one), and translate it back into the language of the original. Once we (me and several of my friends) have had lot of fun thus translating verses to and fro. So, I’m well pleased to present to your attention the quote below:

The original quote was Gandalf to Bilbo before entering Beorn's house (about not using the word "furrier" etc.), which I translated from english to Russian to Polish back to eEglish, thereby destroying all remaining meaning.
