I was also thinking of Aule, but remember that in the same chapter Yavanna creates the shepherds of the trees (aka ents) to protect the forests from the dwarves.

How about Orome - he was the only one to hunt and slay the creatures of Morgoth in Middle Earth?

This has gone on long enough! I was thinking of Aulë, as he was the only one who created another speaking race - personally I dont think that Yavanna created the ents, more that they were put in the forrests on Eru's design.
