OK. I'm going to start working on them now. Start the clock!

Like I said, Sîdhrîs, I'm pretty much useless at solving these things. Mind you, I've only spent about an hour or two looking at these in the past week. A hint would make it easier, but I don't think I've worked hard enough yet to get a break!

Sugesstions for this thread?
If you start giving questions with more than 3 words (not including 'the,' 'of,' etc.), you're generally not going to get an answer. [ May 20, 2002: Message edited by: Legalos ]

Thanks for the advice, Legalos! But you might as well tell us to NOT play anagrams, because those rules make it pretty much impossible to make Middle-earth anagrams. (I notice you are not an anagram player on the Downs.)
An anagram is a word or phrase made by changing the order of letters in another word or phrase. Yes, the best anagrams are elegant. There is a connecting idea between the anagram and its solution. One of the best examples is: PRESBYTERIAN - BEST IN PRAYER But to expect to make an anagram with the same number of words, and further with the same number of letters per word, as the solution is unreasonable. It is in fact, impossible! As for one anagram at a time, where's the fun in that? It sometimes takes some time to solve these things. There are unsolved anagrams in the Quiz Room dating back more than a year. (And they always look easy to the creator.)
