I don't mind people making fun of me or teasing me, but I really dislike the feeling of not knowing what people are talking about. . .So could you please fill me in on the joke, otherwise it is going to haunt me for a long time.

Actually, I may have something coming up around November 3rd, so I'm not sure I'll be able to participate. I'll fill you in when I get some more information.

It seems it's either that, a miracle, or waiting til the weekend and hope Ang and/or Volo sign up.
I'm looking forward to a situation where two or more lover-pairs are still alive and there's only one innocent left... and then the lovers all kill each other at night and the village wins! |

I know that both Ang and Volo want to play, but are unavailable. For Ang it's the 28th and Volo the 30th, I believe.
I suppose reducing the Lovers to three pair would work... I'd like to not have to to do that, though. Just as a personal preference. It's frustrating to get almost the amount of players I need and then get hung up on those last two or three spots.

Eep. How stupid of me. Forget what I said about the Tuesday thing. I'm perfectly fine with starting late to wait for the number of players we need. And, haha, what's a Lovers game without Anguirel?

Hey Rune, you could be the Humungous Fungus Grower! That has a nice ring to it.

...Anyway, we have 18 players, counting Menel and Morm who are "maybes." So, the game could start "any day now" if two more players sign up. Otherwise, I would say we're looking at waiting till next Tuesday, possibly. This is only if M&M play. Is everyone who is currently signed up still able to play even if the game starts next week? And Menel and Morm, if the game were to start, say, tomorrow, would you be able to commit to playing? Also, anyone without a role by the time the show gets up and chugging, will be given one by me.

Count me in but due to current life situations I will be a bit less vocal than normal. I've said that before and it never happens but we'll see

Important Announcement:
Game will start Saturday night at 9:30. It will start with a Day but roles will go out a few hours earlier to give the Lovers a chance for preliminary strategizing. If Ang shows up before Saturday morning around 7 AM (which is when the roles will be going out) then he's in. I tried PMing him but his box is full. If he doesn't show up, I'm going ahead with 18 players and 4 teams. We'll see how it works. I'm going to be dodgy and say that while I know it's an "issue" and I don't want to discuss it, I will not promise either way what the gender combinations of Lovers paired up will or will not be. I will promise not to pair up those who would object to be paired with the same. (And, I know most of you pretty well, so I'm not polling). This isn't to say I AM going to pair those of the same gender. But if you're looking for an official stance either way, ha ha ha ha! You should know by now that I like to challenge my players. No retractions. Watcher and Ranger don't know each other. Timestamp on this post is 9:22 AM October 27 I think that's all.

I might be gone for a good part of Day One, but it all depends on how much my band director loves us. I don't think there is going to be a problem, but I can't be 100% sure.

The game starts on Sunday morning for me, so the game will have begun before I get to read my role. There should be no problem, but just so you know.

Alrighty, fair people of yon village, the Roles have been PM'ed.
If you didn't get a PM, you are an Ordo. Do not post here asking why you didn't get a PM or I will be mightily unpleased and will have to reassign all the roles. And remember to turn yourself Invisible! A few last minute things... there will be no mod fire from heaven. If someone isn't posting or voting, you guys have to take care of them. If you have other questions about the roles/rules I'd prefer you PM me, as asking certain questions could give away hints about your own role. Here's the player list, those without character roles have 12 more hours to choose or I will be assigning. (Holby, note I have given you yours already) Lommy - Ostrich Chaser Mac - Builder of Gibbets, unemployed for millennia Kath - Flower Girl Kitanna - Jenny - Countess Nogrod - a Smith of the Billmarins Valier - Arranger Menel - Mad Scientist Holby - Oliphaunt Whisperer Durelin - Lead Tragic Actor arcticstorm - morm - City Street Cleaner Lhuna - Beautiful Girl with Sleeping Sickness Rune - Humungous Fungus Grower Naria - Lemba Baker Farael - Patient suffering from Mad Elf Disease Rikae - Fintaeph -

So, I must choose an occupation, it seems. The village does seem short on food supply, so I will fill in the niche and be a Mutton-Herder. However, in my spare time, I am also an aspiring (read: not very successful) Purveyor of Fine-Quality Undead Prosthetic Limbs. So get out there and lose some limbs, people, I need customers!

Game thread is up.
the guy who be short is my co-mod for the game, he knows all the roles. If my PM box should get full, you can send kills/dreams/protection choices to him. He's mainly there as backup just in case, so don't bother him too much.

Sad to be one day late, rude word. Now I do have time to do other stuff then, but still, being discouraged by the Voice in My Head from playing WW, it might have been good to play again, or at the very least, try.
So far great text, Diamond! |

Thank you. And I'm sorry you missed it by one day, I had thought you weren't getting back till Tuesday otherwise I would have waited.
A note: The one rule I forgot. In the event of a tie, first to gather the majority dies. No double lynchings.

Argh! I'm so sorry, I saw that the game thread was up, read the first post, and then simply assumed we were starting with a Night phase. Getting brain in gear now.

To inform you: I'm returning from Noggie's place to my home (my mother's place) today, and as quite many of the regular werewolfers know by now I don't have a net access there. (But I'm trying to do something to it.)
So, it means earlier votes for me, and this time, very early. The deadline happens to be around 5 am for me, so if I'm mainly posting during schooldays and after school, that will make my votes about 12 hours before the deadline. (I'll try to get online on Saturday evening before the libraries close their doors, but it will still be 7 hours before the deadline at the best...)

About the edit button...
When one submits a reply and then immediately hits the edit button (for whatever reason), it doesn't register therefore there is no edit time, date at the bottom. I don't know the exact number of seconds that it does that. Just to clarify, because I'm a dorkfish .
