"You like them to be rough and tough and carry a big staff, but you're also content to share a cozy smoke and a chat about the meaning of life."
Not exactly the dandy i'm looking for, but close. Someone like Des Esseintes, or maybe a Robert Ross (the canadian from Wilde's circle, not that movie star...sheesh) would be comfortable. But, alas, i'm afraid a Gandalf Geisha was in order on this quiz... Hmm, I think he would bore me too much. Something along the lines of too much talk on too much of the same thing. Similar interests are not always the best thing... I like inviting an enemy to lunch, it's quite fun. ~ Aesthete

Apparently, "I ADORE my ARAGORN!" I ain't complaining! (Even though it said that I should avoid men who shower all the time. )
Very fun quiz, Lush! I could waste countless hours with this thing.

Another Aragorn affectionato! And here I avoided the obvious reference to good boots. Not complaining mind you, as long as he picks up his own socks!

I got Frodo. Must be all those doom-related things I answered. This computer centre is just so gloomy . . .

Sadly Luthien is not featured on the quiz, but a relative of hers is!

More than two years later...
I used to Rock for Rosie (and I didn't really agree), but now I'm a Gandalf Geisha.

First Arwen, now Galadriel. Where's my rugged, handsome, manly rogue?

It has been really fun reading through this thread again and re-living the frustrations of old.
I had happily forgotten about the "Everybody Loves Eowyn Movement" that one encountered constantly back then, maybe I should take the test again and get the rigt result.(Galadriel) |

Odd, I am quite sure I never took this test before, but I remember getting the result. I Rock for Rosie, apparently.

I got Aragorn. Don't really know how well the description fits, except for the first sentence which is too true: "You're a totally intense individual."
Honestly though I don't think I could stand Aragorn very long. I would find him boring and he would find me silly and annoying.

I'm still a Gandalf Geisha. I don't know what's wrong with me... I guess Aganzir is allowed to laugh at me, seeing that she's one of those friends I mentioned when posting on this thread waaaaay back in 2005:

I am also an Arwen Admirer - which is slightly odd, as my real name translated would be Arwen.

OMG
People still remember this quiz?! Ahh, the magic of the Internet. I think I'll make another one this week. It won't be about dating, but it will be about... something. P.S. It's been over three years, and I just re-took the quiz, not really remembering which answers lead to which characters (I remember the general outline of how I did it, but not the details). I still got Legolas. And you know, my man has always been a total show-off. Particularly with a guitar. So it fits, oddly enough. Btw, I've noticed that I used the word "totally" a lot while making this quiz. I might stay away from that on latter quizzes, but I make no promises. "Totally" is totally my thing.
