It's niether Sauron, nor Elrond, and actually has very little to do with life as we know it. A hint: The 'O's are there for a very good reason.
Fea PS: Witch-King: I was fully going to write "Grima son of Galmod" for your GsoG one... Good thing I didn't get here on time.

Yeah, and BTW Witch-King, if Elrond is as old as dirt, Cirdan and Galadriel must be father time and mother nature

I must say, you are all rather clever and are coming up with applicable things that I never even considered. So... the answer is not the Rings, or the Ring, it is not Cirdan, Gandalf, or anything else to do with actual rings.
I gave the hint in my original post: Quote:

Not Gollum either, although I think both Galadriel and Gollum were involved in this thread, if I remember correctly. I KNOW Aragorn was... and Eowyn. Those aren't answers though, so don't bother guessing them.

And as we all know, we should follow our strong feelings, Firefoot. Boromir the Disco King it is. *trails off into singing "Oh, oh, oh, oh stayin' alive, stayin' alive!"* Burn Bori burn. You're go.

Lol, I sort of like being referred to as the "disco king."
Anyway Firefoot, the only blonde elf I know (if she even is blonde) would be Galadriel. Seems like a reasonable guess. |

do you mean blonde vassal as I can't find a definition for vassel?
If so, could it be Theoden or Eomer? |

Wasn't fast enough.
Essex, I was thinking maybe it has something to do with "Firefoot's" sn, so I was thinking along the lines of Eomer as well, but snuck it in before me.
Well, I'll go with my back up option Eowyn. |

A Vassal is a servant to a King. In Feudalism, you have Peasants, Serfs, and Vassals. Vassals are nobility, sworn to serve the King in exchange for land. They own a fiefdom, or property. Serfs work the land and Peasants also work the land. Serfs cannot be seperated from the land they work on, and I believe are allowed to grow crops there. Peasant and Serf were often used interchangebally, but Pesant could also mean slave. So, let's see, blondevassal. Hmmm...

Not Aredhel.
There is a specific reason for the "Blonde" part; not just because he/she has blonde hair. |

Hippy14000? Hee hee. Anyone who's ever read "Bored of the Rings" I'm sure is thinking of Tom Bombadil (aka Tim Benzadrine).
(if you have no clue what I'm talking about, just go out and buy "Bored of the Rings", it's funny stuff) In case anyone wonders what the answer to Firefoot's unanswered question was- Beor and the other early men that crossed into Beleriand come to mind. They became vassals under the Noldorin Kings. Beor actually means "vassal"- but Beor and his people did not have blonde hair. So, I can only assume that the answer was the blonde-headed Marach or one of his descendants- Hador, Gundor, Galdor, or Hurin. My guess would be Hador, since he was specifically known as the "golden-headed" or "golden-haired".
