Diamond's got it! I wasn't looking for Eowyn, though--I was looking for Adrahil, Finduilas' father. It's in the appendices...it says that Denethor married Finduilas, daughter of Adrahil. But Eowyn will do. ^_^
Lead on, Diamond!

That will indeed do! I was actually fishing for Túrin's other sister, Lalaith, though, instead of Huor and Tuor. Just to be tricky, you know.

Good! I personally had been thinking of Thror, Thorins grandfather,(instead of Frerin) since he is mentioned in the Hobbit and in the appendix A.
Btw, Dis is actually Thorins SISTER (and the mother of Fili and Kili), the only female dwarf ever mentioned by Tolkien!! Your turn !

Is that from the book of lost tales? Sorry, I haven`t read that (yet) so I have to leave the answer to someone else.

Thank you for the hint! In that case you mean Eomer`s son ?
(never noticed his name before. I only heard about an Elfwine in the Lost Tales) Elfwine "the Fair" of Rohan 1.Eomer (father) 2.Lothiriel (mother) 3.Eowyn (aunt) 4.Theodwyn (grandmother) 5.Eomund (grandfather) 6.Imrahil (grandfather on mothers side)

Exactly right! Those were indeed the names I was searching for (for the hint I almost said "Éomer's son" but...well that would be giving it away! So I just used the shield of Rohan icon...so subtle... ).

Let me see...
1) Arathorn--father 2) Gilthalion--mother 3) Arwen--wife 4) Eldarion--son 5) Elrond--father-in-law?? I'm kind of going out on a limb with Elrond, but I couldn't think of anybody else.

You`ve got nearly everything right.
The name of Aragorn`s mother is Gilraen, though! And instead of the father-in-law, I had been thinking of the Grandfather, Arador.(mentioned in the appendix) But it`s ok, your turn now ! Can we say stupid? Because that's me. Nothing's wrong with my account. I'm just not incredibly intelligent. Oi.
Let's see about Éowyn, now. 1) Théoden (uncle) 2) Éomer (brother) 3) Théodwyn (mother) 4) Éomund (father) 5) Elfhild (aunt) And as lagniappe, 6) Théodred (cousin) Sorry about the trouble, Aylwen...I'm rather embarrassed by the whole thing. Account trouble indeed...pah... ~*~Orual~*~
