A one-on-one Gimli v Eomer would be an awesome fight. Eomer would win, leverage advantage.
But anyway, Gimli and Eomer agreed to disagree, and I think I'll go with both of them.
Plus, you are all forgetting Rose....come on'e Sam!

Galadriel or Arwen? Oh, that's tough... I think they're equally beautiful. Liv Tyler is younger than Cate, so she has more of that youthful beauty, but my imagination brightens Cate up ever so much so she seems equally as beautiful. I agree with Eomer and Gimli!
But Rosie is the best, if I should choose between the four. That one picture where she's dancing makes her look a little weird, in my opinion, but pictures can do strange things to you... they have to me, I know.
No, wait! Sweet young Elanor, whether Sam or Sean's daughter, is the fairest of all!
~Nurumaiel
[ December 11, 2002: Message edited by: Nurumaiel ]

Although i really don't like Liv Tyler as Arwen..i would say that Arwen is more beautiful than Galadriel. Probably because Liv Tyler is younger than Cate Blanchett

I have to say that both (Liv and Cate) did a great job in the movie. But to be honest, Arwen is prettier in my oppinion simply because she looks....alive I guess. Galadriel is beautiful and powerful and wise, but you also see in the movie that streak of weakness, where she is tempted to take the ring from Frodo. That, in my oppinion, brings her whole character down a notch.
*~Marsyas~*

I would have to go with Galadriel
It is not that I don't like Arwen, but it is just because Galadriel had a really beautiful dress in FOTR when she was walking to the mirror, and she is also so graceful.
And additionally, she has power, she is the head of her own realm

Hmmm... Arwen, or her grandmother?
I'd have to say Arwen. She is SO HOT! in TTT. Go the costume department! And the camera operator. "Trust in this..." tilt down just enough to get her breasts in the shot...
If Galadriel had that kind of attention paid to her in the movies then maybe she would have come out the winner - but, no, Arwen wins hands down.
I'm with Eomer - you and what Dwarven Army?
