Pio,
The Elf can't cook??!! Did Bird do all the cooking on those long adventuring treks that you two had together? That's probably unheard of in the Shire. Even bachelors like Bilbo seem to have operated a pretty fair kitchen. Cami grins as she expertly wields a chef's knife in one hand and a ladle in the other. Oh well, now you'll know how Cami feels when someone thrusts a weapon at her and orders her to go forward into battle! Good luck in the kitchen! Please note I have moved the calendar ahead in the storyline to 4 Cermië. (The party, from what I understood from Sharon's post will be 8 Cermië)
I am hoping by sometime next week we can push very near the party if not actually get into it.

First off let me apologize for my lack face lately - finals week was probably one of the most busy of my life and I managed to sleep for 30 hours in a row afterwords
Sob story over; what should Frodo-lad be doing around now?

Carrun,
Hope your exams are behind you. Pio or I will get with you with some ideas, once we've had some time to think things through. General Notice: Auriel will be away from the Downs for several weeks on family business. She told Nurumaiel to go ahead with the game and handle her character or have someone else do it. For the next few weeks, I will have the pleasure of playing the nasty Stoatie and getting a good jab at those pesky, squirmy twins. Pio is threatening to sharpen her blades! Mithadan, White Lady--Nuru and I briefly spoke. I plan to post late tonight which should lead into a post by Ferny, and then back to you folk. This will hopefully get us on course again. OK, Birdie is taking over the care of Fosco, Birdie-style! She's gonna have Ferny's men quaking in their boots before long. Won't be too much groping going on, now!

Carrun,
Urgent notice -- Your mailbox is full. I really need to contact you concerning the kidnapping scenes. I prefer not to spell things out on the discussion thread. Please clean out your mailbox and post a note here to let me know you've done that. I'll get back with you immediately. Cami

Carrun,
Thanks for letting us know you will be travelling for he remainder of June. And, yes, we do hope to be finished by then. Since this is technically an invitational game, I need to check with Pio on your interesting suggestion. It's certainly a possibility, but let me speak with her first. Good luck on your travels! Let's use both - one as a Baddie - one to fill in for his brother!

Everyone:
I received an apologetic note from Carrun explaining that he'd need to withdraw from the game since he would be out of town for most of June. He had a good suggestion for an experienced writer to replace him who had expressed an interest in the game. I've written a note seeing if this person would like to play Frodo-lad. Will let you know when I receive an answer. Also, Orual, ......this is Stoatie. Please check your pms.

Notice
Himaran, one of our experienced writers and game founders, has agreed to join the game, playing Frodo-lad in place of his missing brother Carrun. Orual will be playing Shifty, and will accompany Stoatie on his little trip to "pick up the twins". After Stoatie saw how the Elf was arming herself, he thought that bringing along an extra person might be wise.

Tomorrow, real time, shall I put a few saves on the game for anyone who needs them, then move the timeline ahead to the morning of 8 Cermië - the Day of the Party?

I have hogged a large number of saves, and have filled in the one for June 4 at 7:26 pm. The rest will hopefully get done tomorrow....
If bandits or others need more space, we can "split" the boxes so they are shared by more than one character. Cami

Sharon - I moved posts last night, so there is room for people to post into the 'Saves' around my Party Post of June 05, 2003 04:31 AM.
Anyone needing a post placed, just PM Sharon or I and tell us where you want it. Point of Information: We are now at the Day of the Party, 8 Cermië, it is mid-afternoon by my last post as mentioned above - the guests are starting to arrive.

I have left open a number of 'SAVE' spots for whoever needs to use them - PM your posts as needed to Cami or I and tell us where you want them placed.
I'll do one last post tonight which should get us just pre-ceremony time. Sharon, perhaps you will want to have that (the vow scene) done by Monday if possible, we can move then into the late evening/night section of the party day - Gilly will take the twins back to Amaranthas' and Stoatie and gang can do their stuff. I will be gone most of the weekend and Monday at work.

Regarding the wedding/handfasting scenes. I will try to scribble like crazy and get up that far.
My only problem is that we are celebrating our anniversary on Sunday, going to a baseball game and out to a nice dinner. But I will definitely try. sharon

Any chance you can have Samwise ask Cami and Maura to sign the Hobbiton registry of marriages after they finish their ceremony? Cami
