Macalaure speaks some sense I think. Why not keep one person from each tribe until the end? That leaves me with a decision between Gloin & Smaug, both of which have already have at least one (more than that in Gloin’s case at least) run on their person already.
I’ll have to think this one over... |

Time to get serious?
Really: two dwarves around still! And two dragons! ++ Chrysophylax I might be persuaded with campaigns over Gloin and Gimli too... Now in haste, so nothing better this time.

++Gloin
Get him out of here already! The random Dwarves have to go! One dwarf is enough! Smaug's better than Chrysophylax! I think I'm going to go insane if Gloin stays around any longer...wait, it's too late for that. *Meneltarmacil gets dragged off by the men in white coats*

I don't disrespect Hama, I simply feel he would be more at home among less exalted company. The discerning individual might divine my intense respect for his modesty. But you tried to vote off a Valar...what presumption is this? And yes, Silly, he did vote twice.
EDIT: Whoops. I should pay attention to what is the current page. But my defense stands.

Hmmm. Well, JenHallu, Diamond, & Cel, I'm just going to bring something up here.
Of the seven remaining contestants we have two dwarves, two dragons, one man, one woman, & one eagle. Now I certainly agree with you that Hama is nothing special (sure he was good as far as doorwardens go) but why don't we vote out a dwarf or a dragon? Something there's two of...just to keep things a little more even. I don't know that I'm championing reducing all the races down to one for the final five but... Just something to think about. I don't much care I guess. |

Let's just say that I have my agenda in place for this game. And Hama the Hammy doesn't fit in to it.

+ + HAMA
How much intelligence does it take to work out that, to a Wizard, his staff is his weapon? Yet Hama managed to get himself outwitted by a serial uncloaker. The guy's a numbskull. And, since film-based evidence appears to have been acceptable in the past, I feel it my duty to draw attention to his humiliating screen death. Scoffed by one of those mutant Hyena-Lemming hybrids. Truly, excrutiatingly, toe-curlingly, teeth-clenchingly embarassing. Pah! He didn't deserve to make the final first time round. He certainly doesn't deserve to go any further in this competition.

This vote thing is draggin' a bit.
+ +Chrysophylax Dives His name violates Tolkien's number one rule about allegory. Reason enough! His last name--Dives--is Latin for rich and to people in the Middle Ages--and we all know how much time Tolk spent there--Dives was the rich man in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. (Luke XVI 9 - 31). Apparently the House of Dives is still noted in Jerusalem. Unless it's been bombed recently of course. So what has to go? This excrable academic scholarly parallel that ruins the story? Or the bad pun about a filthy rich dragon? Will you not be persuaded by one of the Dead?

Actually I'm rather fond of puns, the worse the better. So UP WITH DIVES!
Down with dull old Hama. I'm not being racist...you're all the ones who voted off all the otehr humnas, not me.

++Chrysophylax Dives. For the above, and for the following reasoning. Dives means rich man and was key in the Middle Ages. Rich people in the Middle Ages were often slothful, betraying and unsupportive of the common man. Therefore,Chrysophylax is a snooty, slothful jerk. Being a jerk is bad enough, but he also fits into the Seven Deadly Sins. Therefore, send him away.

Well I've already made a few attempts to get this man off the island. Yes, he's a decent enough sort, but really, does he deserve to be in this stellar company? Does he deserve to go all the way? I don't think so.

Rune, I stressed the objectivity of my choice because it was suggested we keep Hama for racial reasons; i.e. because we had two dragons, two dwarves, but Hama was the only Man.

Anybody interested in a campaign against Thorondor? I promised to begin that today but there seems little support and I fear that he will win this contest if we do nothing about him now.
Currently though I think it is time to see a dragon go that would be so naive as to listen to a witless giant. ++Chrysophylax Dives

A character whose name is a complete sentence obviously has a name too big for him, even if he is a dragon. Don't decline this chance to verbally correct the dragon who can't flight straight. Say, "Chrysophylax walks."
Morm, I'm thinking Thorondor has been too quiet too.

If not that, just having the guts to stand up to the ruthless dictator Aragorn and dealing with an old crabby man all day should deserve some decency and not spreading about blasphemous dogma. I really have no clue why Thorondor is here. It really makes no sense, let's just get rid of all the juicy spicy characters that creat controversy, and have the most boring uninterested final stretch ever by keeping in Thorondor. ++Thorondor

++Thorondor I would much rather have a dragon than an Eagle. Really what did this eagle do? He really has no personality whatsoever. He scratched a couple people's faces but how long can that carry him forward in life? Boy that sure is a resume builder there...I can only picture it, under the experience column

In all seriousness (for a change) this is about as vacuous a character as could win this game and I don't particularly want that to happen.

Thorondor is quite possibly the most boring semifinalists (if you could call it that) yet. Not to mention his sad resume that morm brought up. ++ Thorondor |
