I think that this thread is hilarious and overtly funny!
Barrow-Wight (or any of the other Ops/Mods for that matter): Everyone! Cuss, swear drink and gamble as much as you like! This site is now a free-for-all! Have fun! Or, Bethberry: I hate everyone! Everyone, hear me!?! I will PERMAMENTALY ban anyone who speaks to me after this! Hear Me!?!? Or, Rimbaud: I have decided to become normal, stop using witty phrases, and discontinue debating any idea I once liked. I don't know if any of these are funny, as I don't know anyone too well.

it was funny in its time, let it live again :)
davem would never post:
The really good idea would be to extend Rev Silm and start up "Revised Tolkien" project. I mean, we should dig up all pieces Tolkien ever wrote, including his market lists and bakery bills, and create one coherent piece of text out of it. The plot will develop first in South Africa, and will include such Aelfwine traveling from Capetown with Rover to the Moon, with Master Cook on the steer, and it will give what I'd like to call "true Tolkien" idea to masses. We will be having two aims in mind - first, to bring as much of Tolkien's writing into one piece of a text as possible, and, secondly, we should make it as life-like, real, according to the laws of our primary world as it ever may be achieved. So the mechanical monsters of Morgoth should be interpreted as rockets (othewise, how would Rover get to the Moonm and so forth. Once the work is done, all other books now in circulation should be banned, and our Revised Tolkien piece should be proclaimed the one and only canon!

Since I don't know anyone on this site well ENOUGH to speculate on what they would not post, I'll just go through with a semi-general overview.
Anyone: TEH HARY POTER PWNS J00 !!!!!!1!!!!1!!!!shiftone!!!!1!!!!! Any mod: Perhaps it is time to a brief hiatus from Tolkein. Any mod: Wait a sec, what's this Silmarilla thingy everyone's talking about? Well, that was indeed pathetic, but I managed to scratch out something from my tired mess of a brain. Hmm, I should start using the word "pwns" in conversation. That word pwns. Does anyone, pray tell, even know what that means. I'm ashamed to say I do (background in another, less respectable site, thankfully non-Tolkein affiliated). Next: My ill-aimed grammar lesson on the word 'pwns' and all its vocabularic kin, AND furthermore, why Tolkein should be painstakingly translated into netxpeak. Oh, there's something I don't think anyone would say, regardless of Tolkein obsession...Of course, I have met people who would wish such a thing...By the lidless eye, I really keep lousy company these days. Never liked that 'language' though. Too hasty, hooom!

Stitch
Lhunardawen: Yes, Stitch... he fascinates me as essentially a product of genetic engineering (like an orc) who ended up with free will somehow (like Aule's dwarves) and who then was led into love, belonging, adoption, and the awakening of conscience (like redeemption) through the love of those who believed in, and desired, the best for him (agape.) .....so... Yes, I'm very fond of Stitch.
Back on topic: Nurumaiel: Family? Loyalty? Caring? Gentleness? What's that all about? Orual: Deep thought? Nah, I go for hack-and-whack. littleManPoet: Aragorn opined, "We're obligated to approach employing the most roundabout and indirect route toward our predetermined rendezvous destination. Insomuch as we follow this methodology it's completely assured beyond a reasonable doubt that we'll naturally arrive with the maximized melodramatic and climactic impact. Go, us!" To which the witty, eloquent, and totally elegant Legolas retorted ever so dryly and suavely, "Oui, Missieur."

May Stitch be that little blue fellow under the right-hand tree on your avatar picture, Helen, perchance?
On Topic Knight Of Gondor: Since Aragorn was armed with shards of his sword only, he should have been shown practicing some type of unarmed self defense, like karate or something, in the movie!
