P is for Ar-Pharazôn, twenty-forth and last king of Númenor He "defeated" Sauron and brought him back to Númenor (not bright) where Sauron had his way. Ar-Phar. persecuted the faithful, cut down down Nimloth, and worshiped Melkor through human sacrifice. Then he tried to attack Valinor. He was asking for it, and he got it. Númenor was subsequently destroyed.

So, new theme! Let's be evil. Any evil characters, places, or things. If it's evil, it fits!

I dunno why no one has posted this! It's the most obvious one...
M is for Morgoth, an Ainu with a serious desire-to-destroy-everything complex. He original name was Melkor and he was also called Belegurth, Morgoth Bauglir, Foe of the Valar, the Enemy, the Great Enemy, the Dark King, the Dark Lord, the Lord of the Dark, the Dark Power of the North, the Evil of the North, the Black Hand, the Master of Lies, the Hunter and the Rider, the Lord of the Darkness, the Lord of All, the Giver of Freedom, and the King of the World. Even Aragorn can't beat that. [ November 03, 2002: Message edited by: Diamond18 ]

S is for Shelob the Great, Last Child of Ungoliant. I just love the way that sounds...
Shelob was a gigantic spider who made her lair in the Ephel Duath, by the Tower of Cirith Ungol (named after her!). She fed on Orcs, and tried to eat Frodo. She was wounded badly by Samwise the Brave, and that is the last we hear of her. Her life or death remains a mystery. (Oooooo).
