How lovely - I hope the rest of your day will bring more luxury and happiness ... personally though I would give camping a miss..

Happy Birthday Arvedui III, Hiriel and Catherine if any of you happen to be on the Downs again.
Best to remain optimistic and hope that people haven't abandoned the Downs forever.

I seem to be late again... well blame the work...
But anyhow a very good belated birthday to McCaber and Finduilas and not so badly belated one to Child! Don't count the years! The sooner you get away from counting them the freer you are... And to be in time: Happy birthday Holby! It would be nice to hear from you for a long time! Maybe the Dueling Wizards ww could bring you back? Just consider it if you read this... coming soon this spring / early summer...

Thank you for the birthday wishes, it's a grand number, 35!! Although these past few years I tend to forget my own because four out of the six of us have birthdays in a three week period and mine is the last one also it is the date of U.S.'s tax day and I get a bit preoccupied and sick of cake.
A little bit of an update... Mr. Holby and I have decided not to have any more children (I don't know how Sam and Rosie did it!) so I have been going through and giving away all the baby things. Amazing how much storage space opens up. I'm in class for basic EMT (emergency medical technician, ambulance) and will be volunteering for my county. If I volunteer enough, the county will pay for my schooling through paramedic. So keep a look out and you might spot me tearing around with the shirrifs. Again, thanks for the wishes!

Oh that is a relief - otherwise the older one got the more chance there would be of having to call the fire brigade .... there would be a scale of potential inferno ranging from Caradhras campfire for the youngstock, through Balrog for those of riper years to full blown Orodruin for the venerable....

Happy birthday, sir Boromir! According to the Tale of the Years, the time is drawing near when you are going to leave on the journey towards Rivendell! But right now you should have Gandalf around, so enjoy the birthday with him.

But I do hope you'll get your cup of life filled and your RL gives you some leeway to join the 'Downs more often in the future. So happy birthday Boro!

While I heartily second the birthday messages to Kitanna and Sixth, I would include Abercrombie of Glorious Memory. She hasn't been around so much lately but those who can remember cannot forget the creator of the Downer Periodic Table, one of the all time great posts.
