For all it's worth, your randomness won out
It was Elijah Wood! (With some credit going to Dom who also said the last part). Watch the commentary in the SE and you'll hear it!

Well you would be correct! He was talking about the scene in Moria when Boromir almost falls into the abyss (because the stairs were no more)...and Legolas rushes up to save him, pulling him backwards. Orlando also quoted that Sean Bean gave no mercy in falling back onto him! *lol*
You're up!

Would that be John Rhys-Davies? Not too many quotes by him get on this topic, but I believe this one is. I do remember Dom talking about John taking out all the stunt guys when he hit them.

It sounds like they're referring to the fact that PJ does so many takes...I'm going to go with Viggo since dear Eruwen has guess John Rhys-Davies

Right, you know, Rochelle, you make a very good point. I guess I didn't think of how the person said it. I'm going to stick with my answer though...just in case. {Though I have a feeling you're right.}

Wasn't that Ian Mckellen?
I think I read it on one of the editorials on the official movie site. [ February 26, 2003: Message edited by: Beruthiel ]

I've got a good feeling that you're right, Eruwen. But since this is supposed to be actor's quotes, I'm going to take another random guess. Elijah?

Sean Astin (my guess) is a director, too. However, PJ did have a bit part as a Breelander in FOTR, so he can be counted as an actor.

Oh yeah... forgot about that... But I think they ended up cutting out the part tht showed PJ, didn't they? I thought I heard some one say that when I watched the movie with cast commentary and I don't remember seeing PJ in the film.

I don't know...I think I didn't even know he had that bit part 'til after I saw the movie.
I know if I saw him I didn't know it--he would have been made-up, anyway. Beruthiel, you there? Anyone right?

Or Viggo? I know he hadn't read Lotr, but his son had, he talked him into taking the part.. PJ wasn't edited away from Fotr. You can see him outside in Bree.

I remember hearing it on my DVD, but I can't remember exactly who said it. Ummm, was it Orlando Bloom? I have a feeling it was him or Dom. {Then again, I could be completely wrong as always.}
