That is quite Impressive Esty, do you have any special activities planned for this death day?
(There really should be some sort of traditions attached to a deathday) |

Thanks for all the good wishes! No, I had no special celebration; unfortunately, real life is taking up so much of my time that I have little left over to spend on the Downs. Hopefully, that will change in the future.

What news of Boromir the Bold? For he is long away.'
Happy 5th deathday to my near contemporary in decay and one of my best BD friends, Boromir 88 - I hope to see him around again soon.

Another year, another missed death-day; but slightly more than 7 years on the Downs for me now.
I toast you all.

Thanks. And that ship just stays in the harbour now, Eönwë. Too old for anything else.

So I'm no longer actually sure when my deathday is. But either way, it doesn't change that I've now been a Barrow Downer for seven years. Geez, that's a long time. I think back to when I was this 13 year old kid who was introduced to this site by a friend, and boy have things changed since then. Both me and the website. Funny to think that I've been here long enough to watch fellow Downers grow up and change with me. It's rather awesome, really. And just wait until another seven years pass... It seems appropriate that out of all days, today will be the day I put up the admin thread for my game (yes, it'll be up sometime tonight).

Congrats, Brin.
I just noticed I also passed my two-year anniversary a few days ago. Alas, that I can continue on this board for another ten years and still be considered a junior member with the likes of Brin having posted for most of this century!

Oh, belated happy deathday, TGEW (so now you can slowly start to consider yourself a senior member! Want a walking stick yet?), and to Brinn too! Shame I kept missing everybody's deathdays, but well, people do it themselves (not that it's an excuse)
