Ça, c'est difficile (was that right?)
Indeed it is, and it is called the Super-Difficult Tolkien Test...or words to that effect. If anyone could get over 50%...ah, I'd be awed at 10%, without looking anything up...WHOAH.
I didn't know any, apart from that last one...I think. And, on a lighter note, this HAS to be the easiest Tolkien test ever. Edit: I take that back! THIS is the easiest LotR test ever. [ January 17, 2003: Message edited by: LePetitChoux ]

Wow.... I know I got the last one right, and I guessed correctly on one other one.... That's one scary test.

I actually got 6 out of 15. Of course some of those were not from skill. I could figure some of the dates out from a starting point. You're right, Galadrie1, that was scary.

well the other two were easy...REALLY easy. but i think
"You have 9 from 10 questions correct. WOW! You must've seen and read LOTR at least 10 times! You were AMAZING! Congratulations! You are one of the biggest LOTR fans EVER!" is a bit exaggerate, isn't it? Just because I know where Galadriel lives, that doesn't make me to one of the "biggest LotRfans ever"...there are other ones who solve the first test without any problems, THEY can be called the biggest fans. But well why not...

I got 8 out of 15, most were educated guesses. A few were definite.

Number nine on the third quiz must be a trick question, since there is no one anywhere named "Isildor".

Heh. I got a six out of fifteen on the hard one. I am very horrible with exact dates. Oh well. Better than anyone else in my household would do, does that count?

I didn't even try the really hard one (way too difficult )
On the easy one, some of the questions were confusing. And on the really easy one, I got 14 out of 15, but that is because I got confused about the question about the quote "All that glitters..." because the first time I said that it is from Gandalf's letters (which is true) but the answer they were looking for was from one of Bilbo's sayings. Am I confused or not. Did Gandalf get the saying from Bilbo and use it in the letter? or was it the other way around?

I went back and tried the super hard one and got 6 out of 15 , that surprised me, though I guessed on all of them.

I only got 3 right on the super-scary hard one.
But I got perfect scores on the other two! So, does that mean I'm stupid in a smart world or smart in a stupid world?!

Your right, THESE IS the easiest quizes ever!
I did perfect on all of them except the actors ones (and the Hobbit one, which doesn't seem to work). I'm a Tolkien junky, lol, why would I know anything about the actors? [ January 18, 2003: Message edited by: Beren87 ] |

That was interesting. I did very well. But I'm confused about the how to catch Shelob question. I didn't understand the bath part. Help?

You catch Shelob in a giant bath because it is impossible for a spider to get out of a bath.

LOL! Of course, makes perfect sense (now that it's been explained). HaHaHaHa! That's going to stay with me a long time. Thanks.

Thats a trick question though! Depending on the size of the roll of sticky tape you can catch anything.

That's the answer I put, but then spiders run around on their sticky webs, oh man, that one threw me for a loop.

I got 7 of 15, but I only guessed on the one concerning the hobbit; at least of the ones I got right.
