I'm Gimli! It must be the "Axes are cool" and "I'm short compared to my friends" answers I gave.
I would consider myself most like to Eowyn, and she's my #2 at 70%. Gimli 83% Galadriel 70% Aragorn 70% Eowyn of Rohan 70% Saruman the White 67% Gollum 60% Legolas 60% Frodo Baggins 60% Gandalf the Grey 57% Peregrin Took (Pippin) 53% Meriadoc Brandybuck (Merry) 50% Samwise Gamgee 47% Boromir 47% Arwen of Rivendell 43% Great quiz! Since it's been over a year, I went and tried again, and not a lot seems to have changed.
Gandalf the Grey 80% Galadriel 70% Aragorn 60% Samwise Gamgee 60% Frodo Baggins 57% Legolas 43% Arwen of Rivendell 37% Meriadoc Brandybuck (Merry) 27% Eowyn of Rohan 27% Gimli 20% Saruman the White 17% Gollum 10% Boromir 3% Peregrin Took (Pippin) 0% Not sure if I'm just getting more curmudgeonly in my old age, what with Pippin falling off and Gollum getting stronger....

My result was Arwen.

Interesting...
Seeing this one pop up and checking back to have done this like two years ago I decided to give it a go again. And lay and behold! It was soo different! Well I was aware of making it a bit differently as I was marking the edge-grades more than the middle-ones which I always end up marking in this kind of a quizzes. But really, the results made an interesting change from the previous try while I don't think I have changed so much in such a short time. So I'm... (the previous results in brackets, followed by the difference) Frodo 77% (63%) = + 14% Gandalf 70% (63%) = +7% Saruman 63% (63%) = even! Arwen 63% (67%) = -4% Boromir 60% (50%) = +10% Samwise 53% (47%) = +6% Gollum 53% (43%) = +10% Galadriel 47% (30%) = +17% Aragorn 47% (54%) = -7% Merry 43% (37%) = +6% Pippin 40% (70%) = -30% Legolas 40% (67%) = -27% Eowyn 33% (47%) = -14% Gimli 20% (47%) = -27% So by taking more extreme views on matters makes me a lot more Galadriel and Frodo, and makes me less Pip, Legolas or Gimli? Whatever, it was a fun ten minutes anyway... Let's see how it will turn out on 2012?

If nothing else, it's an interesting way to make oneself wonder
Here is my new one compared with my previous results, that is, from October 2007 and September 2008: Galadriel 83% (Still in lead... interestingly in my previous tries went through 83->90 and now back to 83, but always the first place!) Legolas 80% (Growing steadily. Used to be 63% for 3rd place -> 73% for 2nd place) Samwise Gamgee 64% (used to be 67% on both tries, originally for 2nd place) Arwen of Rivendell 63% (used to be 66% and 63%, originally for 3rd place after Sam) Frodo Baggins 63% (growing slowly, was 53% and 60%) Aragorn 57% (was 53% and 63%) Saruman the White 43% (Fascinating, this is a similar trend as with Galadriel. Used to be 43% -> 47%) Peregrin Took (Pippin) 43% (originally 47%, last time it randomly went to 70% but now it dropped back to "normal") Gandalf the Grey 37% (whoops, what a drop, used to be 40%, later 53%) Meriadoc Brandybuck (Merry) 34% (used to be steadily 37%) Gollum 30% (I am scared by the way how it grows, used to be 17%, 20%) Gimli 27% (used to be 17%) Boromir 27% (again a bit of a rollercoaster, went 30% -> 47%) Eowyn of Rohan 17% (similar, 10% -> 23%) Disappointment: Gandalf, Gollum. Quite happy with the, albeit slow, growth of Frodo; really interested about the reasons for the growth of Legolas. Interested about the "rollercoasters" (especially Pippin, Boromir).

Somehow I wasn't all that surprised about what I scored as....although I didn't think it would be a tie......Actually I was hoping for Aragorn or Eowyn...the two that I personally think should be together.

So I've done this too at last and it turns out I'm...
*drumroll* Merry. Well yes, I can certainly live with that (must have been the "Nothing beats a good history book"). Pippin comes second, and the rest of the Fellowship hobbits in the upper half as well, along with Legolas (what's that militant non-smoker doing there?), Gandalf (more like it, if a bit too flattering) and Arwen (where did that come from?). I'm certainly not much of a Boromir or Aragorn, and I do have a wee bit of Gollum in me (at least my wife says so). So yeah, fits. Meriadoc Brandybuck (Merry) 73% Peregrin Took (Pippin) 67% Legolas 63% Frodo Baggins 60% Gandalf the Grey 60% Arwen of Rivendell 57% Samwise Gamgee 57% Galadriel 53% Saruman the White 53% Boromir 53% Gimli 47% Gollum 44% Aragorn 43% Eowyn of Rohan 27%

I've just done the quiz, and I'm...
Galadriel! Honestly!
My personality changes with the day (as many people learned the had way ), and I can see myself as all these characters, except for Gandalf and Galadriel, the top 2. Galadriel 83% Gandalf the Grey 70% Meriadoc Brandybuck (Merry) 70% Legolas 63% Frodo Baggins 63% Aragorn 63% Boromir 63% Arwen of Rivendell 57% Saruman the White 54% Eowyn of Rohan 53% Samwise Gamgee 50% Peregrin Took (Pippin) 47% Gollum 40% Gimli 40%

Tied between Galadriel and Legolas. I can see where that comes from (as well as the Gandlaf and Frodo) and am in agreement...unless we're talking about the movie-Legolas, in which case I'm utterly confused and perhaps slightly offended. Does anyone know whether this is a book or movie quiz? Or both? I'm not sure.

Welcome to the Downs!
Gollum is not that bad of a character, if you look at him closely, though very few people see it. Frodo saw it. Gandalf saw it. And I think that's pretty much it. You just need to zoom in on the "Smeagol" part.

I've taken the test twice and got INTJ and INTP. Coincidentally Hugo Weaving and Ian McKellen are some of my favorite actors. Either way I'm pretty much immortal sooo..
