Congratulations Rumil!!! All the best to you and Luthien! May life be kind to both of you, and when it's not, I wish you that you'll always have a small personal Tol Galen to escape to from life and it's bothers!

I have always thought marriage was a good idea..for other people...
Congratulations and forgive me if I mentally sub in Tuor and Idril...for me that is the happier story..
This was the reading at my cousin's wedding in June which I rather liked. "When you fall in love, it is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake, and then it subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots are to become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is.. Love itself is what is left over, when being in love has burned away. Doesn't sound very exciting, does it? But it is!"

Congratulations, Rumil, and much happiness to you both as you weave your lives together.
Is Luthien a Tolkien reader or is she about to become one?

Wonderful! All the best to you and Luthien, and hope that (from our 'downers' perspective) the great change in your life still leaves you time to drop by once in a while, or even better, to recruit a new member. No pressure, though In any case, I'm very happy for you.
