Reuters is reporting that Burger King has inked a promotional deal with New Line in connection with the release of the first LoTR Movie. Found this in Yahoo! daily news under entertainment. The floor is open for (polite) derogatory comments. Lord of the Onion Rings? --Mithadan-- "The Silmarils with living light were kindled clear, and waxing bright shone like stars that in the North above the reek of earth leap forth."

Whopper can sit on Big macs pickles! McDonalds is NOT anywhere as good as BK. BK Fries are better. Bk Burgers are better. BK Drinks arent as watered down. I can see it now.. I live in California, and the McDonalds here arent anywhere as good as BK. When McD's had the Cajun McChicken burger, I might hold it a little higher, but the BK next to my house is good.. very good. Im sure, if they tried, Outback SteakHouse would cook the best burgers ever. I had some steak there, *drools*, it was so good. We only have McD's here and a Greek "competitor" called Goody's so I can't make a comparison with Burger King. (With reference to someone's earlier comment, there really IS a chain called "Wimpy" in the UK!) How about the following marketing idea: FREE RING with every Happy Meal! Collect the entire set of 3 Elven, 7 Dwarven and 9 Mortal! Send them in to our head office and win The One Ring plus an Oroduin cigarette lighter! I wonder how long before someone opens a Middle Earth fast food chain?
