I need to look at it in depth but it appears faithful to JRRT's MT/Sil. conceptions. Suggestion, most who have not read HoME (more than 95% of JRRT afficianados?) will not recognize the quenya names of the sons of Feanor, his half-brothers and their children. Inserting sindarin names would help the readability. --Mithadan-- "The Silmarils with living light were kindled clear, and waxing bright shone like stars that in the North above the reek of earth leap forth." </p>

Since this is not exactly a direct quotation situation concerning text, but a hand-made brief compilation, I felt that this at least could be submitted here without much problem. And yes; it is brief, as the actual TOY contains much more detailed information. <img src=wink.gif ALT="  "> Please; hack away at it. Ok; while you're pondering, I'll add another item. It's also related to an old trivia question I proposed: Consider this; why did >>Finwe<< (and Feanor, Fingolfin AND Finarfin) use a SUN as the heraldric device when this object did not exist until AFTER Finwe's death according to the old mythology, without using some type of floundering creative and hypothetical explanation instead of the realization that they existed BEFORE the trees died, which matches the latter text ideas. We could also examine Elwe's use of the MOON as his, but that's another story. See Pictures by Tolkien for the illustrations. Is it one of those things that makes you go hmmmmm? Sorry, but as long as you're thinking... </p> |

Thirsty for BD after long absence, and having but a brief time of sojourn to spend, I made a quick ride over the barrows and vaults of this haunted place. Now see what the glittering jewel did I brought up from the forgotten dust! Long live the people of misterious names, though them be away from us...
Or to put it straight, I think the piece of hard work placed here is very much worth observing and incorporating for those who work on it still Maye it be of help (as I'm sure it will)
