Pipe Was Aragorns's son the next heir of Gondor?

Was Aragorn's son the next heir of Gondor? I'm sure the answere is yes, but I've never heard of the history of Gondor after Aragorn had passed away, and I asume many of you have. So I'm wondering who became the next king, and what his son's history and his other children's were. If anyting I'm mainly looking for his son's, and if you can please add his other childrens also please! Thanx! Also please if you know, what is Gondor's history and what became of it?

Nothing is known except for Eldarion's inheritance of the throne. Aragorn had daughters, but they remained unnamed in the histories Tolkien has presented. Chronologically the last thing we know of is the departure of Legolas, Gimli, and Sam. Tolkien began a story on what happened after Aragorn's death but scrapped it - you can read what he started to write in the History of Middle-earth.

Eldarion became king of Gondorin 1541, the year of Aragorns death on March 1st. IThey also had daughters, but nothing is none about them and I do not know how many their were, but at least 2.

All that was said of the daughters was that there were "many..."

Which of course could be anything from 2 to, well... you draw your own conclusions. When you're married for about a century, you can have daughters aplenty, I suppose...

As been as Arwen was the mother, did the sons and daughters have a choice if wether they could become an Elf or a Man. I couldn't imagine Eldarion becomeing an Elf. That would mean he would rule Gondor forever.

Nope, they didn't have a choice. Arwen had her children after she made her choice, and since she chose mortality, they would be mortal. We don't hear of Elros's children being given the choice, so Arwen's children shouldn't.

^nor did Arwen, Elrond was only half-elven same as Elros would have been technically half-mankind i guess since Elrond and Elros were brothers, but they didn't have kids until after they chose what they wanted to be, and they married of the same race that they had chosen to be...so if Elros kids had had the choice Arwen and her brothers would have too i think...but they didn't and nor would Arwen's children

I think that Aragorn was the true Heir of Isildur, so if he had failed in the War of the Ring, his son would never have been born, because Middle Earth would have been destroyed. This is why Aragorn must be the last of the true Kings of Gondor.

I wish Tolkien would have written more on the dominion of men but in my opinion the Elves were his favorite for he wrote quite a bit more about them.
