Sting Hey why didnt sauron..

why didnt Sauron create Armor with the flame from Mt doom.It would be really strong like the ring and not destroyable.SO he can have a elite army to take out Gondor!!

If I'm not mistaken, it wasn't so much the Mt Doom factor that made the Ring nearly indestructable, it was the Sauron putting his power into it.

Besides, white hot lava gets to about 1350 degrees celcius (source), the melting point of steel is usually about 1370 degrees C. (source)
