LOA correct (elvish solar year) and POSCO correct (he's a Baggins). Well done! (And quite hobbitty to have scoops of things, I think ).
Neldoreth is not correct. I'll put the names in later. (It's much harder to do this on a phone).

Well, seeing as we're on a new page:
1. Forest lord meets a matriarch in a muddle! LOA: Behold! A twelvemonth. 3. An obsessed philologist, when bothered, can be a bit of a monster! 4. He sounds like the knowledge of journals. 5. One frost maiden. 6. Censure without appliance. Wayward thing! POSCO: Mixed scoop for him?

1. Ambaróna
4. Maglor It's a bit of a reach, but 3. Naugrim I think the password might be Baggins, but again it's mostly a guess.

AMBARONA: Forest lord meets a matriarch in a muddle!
LOA: Behold! A twelvemonth. --G........: An obsessed philologist, when bothered, can be a bit of a monster! MAGLOR: He sounds like the knowledge of journals. --I.........: One frost maiden. --N.........: Censure without appliance. Wayward thing! POSCO: Mixed scoop for him? Three out of four. Well, to be precise, two-and-a-half out of four. MAGLOR is of course mag-lore - sounds like knowledge of mags/journals. AMBARONA is BARON +A + MA, jumbled up. Naugrim is incorrect, but look carefully and things may be easier now.

Bumping this thread. I would say something more productive, but I haven't had any lightbulbs about the last clues yet, and I feel a bit guilty about letting the thread sink into the depths of time again.

I have been ill and I don't even recognize half the words already solved so have rather given up hope.

I'm sorry you haven't been well, Mith.
There is a first half to the password, in quite an obvious place, which would make the remaining clues much easier. Baggins is only half the password. I think the remaining clues could then be guessed very easily by working backwards. They are difficult, but I felt that was offset by how much password there is and the fact that the password also gives you the initial of each clue. By the way, 'Wayward thing' alone is enough to solve clue 6.

Oh! Primula for the other password. And... Rana for wayward thing? Though I have no idea how to match that with the cryptic part.

Double posting to avoid invisible edits
And I suppose Ungoliant for the monster... but again, still can't see where that came from.

All correct!
Ungoliant = A LINGO NUT (anagram). Rana is referred to as 'the Wayward.' This is enough to get the clue. 'Censure without appliance' is admittedly obscure: it's 'arraign' minus 'rig.' But the clue is reachable from the password and 'wayward thing.' PRIMULA BAGGINS is the whole password - so I guess the next person to go is you or Squatter.

Ooooh! I would have never guessed A LINGO NUT. The clues were well done and funny, and I love the double password aspect of your passwords. I guess this one just coincided with RL interference coupled with a brain block or two, which is why it took so long to solve. In retrospect, I really shouldn't have begged for that many clues and maybe worked my brain a bit harder.
Squatter, I think you should take this one, since you got the first and main part of the password.

Oh no, I believe in asking for clues! I never want things to be unsolvable. I guessed everyone was busy with RL and other threads, but anyone is welcome to ask for clues any time I post a password.

Squatter has asked if someone else would post the next password.
Galadriel, would you like to do it? You did guess the other half of the last password, plus several of the clues.

I don't mind, but it might have to wait a couple days. Anyone is free to go ahead, though, if you have ideas.

Clues 1 and 3 are correct, so is the password. Since clue 4 is a bit tricky, the answer is ecco, elvish word for back. Echo-H+C

Ah, I thought it might be the indefinite article backwards, but looked this up and apparently Elvish doesn't have the indefinite article. (So I learned something! Not sure if this is all Elvish languages, or just one/some, though). Then I thought it might be 'back' in Elvish, but didn't have time to look properly. But kicking myself that I didn't think of 'echo' - I was thinking of words like 'redo.'
Have a go at this one. I will give clues as and when requested, or if people get stuck. Actually, I'll give one clue straight away and say that this particular puzzle has a lot of hobbits in it. 1. Rearrange graphite for a thain’s bride – and she’s one of these! 2. Harsh metal, poetically, forms him. 3. Add liquid to fruit for her. 4. Regal dwelling loses this French racket for him. 5. Whisky-based tipple is heard to suffer ovine extraction, but through turmoil finds direction for him. 6. A ghazal would do this here. P.S. Welcome back, Urwen and Ivriniel.

1. Rearrange graphite for a thain’s bride – and she’s one of these!
ISENGRIM (TOOK): Harsh metal, poetically, forms him. PEARL (TOOK): Add liquid to fruit for her. PALADIN (TOOK): Regal dwelling loses this French racket for him. 5. Whisky-based tipple is heard to suffer ovine extraction, but through turmoil finds direction for him. 6. A ghazal would do this here. Yes, isen for iron plus grim for harsh, with adjective following noun as often happens in poetry (poetic licence). I didn't know about I indicating liquid state - you mean I as opposed to L? My chemistry classes are now long, long ago ....

Sorry for the muddle there.
Isengrim is correct. Unfortunately, I have edited my last post, when I meant to quote it instead, re-editing the quote to add Isengrim. Muddle happened because I am posting from my 'phone. It is of course grim for harsh, plus isen (iron) for metal, poetically arranged with adjective last, as often happens with poetic licence. PEARL was PEAR plus L (the letters L and R are classed as liquids). PALADIN was PALACE minus CE (French word for 'this'), plus DIN.

States of matter are indicated with lowercase letters in brackets. So (l) for liquid, (g) for gas, etc. So not knowing the liquid classification if letters, I thought that this might be a potential explanation.

Three down, three to go!
PERVINCA TOOK: A ghazal would do this here. Yes, in a ghazal, the writer puts a 'signature' in the last line. TOOK is indeed one of the passwords, but if you look closely you'll see another. DIAMOND is indeed graphite with rearranged particles - but it's the precise clan she belongs to that will give you the final answer to clue 1.

I did, but my first thought was Odo, who is as far as I know not a Took.
Peregrin? (In thinking of the various Tooks, I just realized what a curious combination are Peregrin and Paladin, etymology-wise)

No. Are you referring to the fact that ghazals use monorhyme?
There is something else that ghazals do, in their last line.
