I assign my old and truly awfull DVD-player. . .it has always had its problems, like it would at least once per movie skip or pause as if the DVD was scratched regardless of the state of the DVD, but that I could live with.
I was watching the fellowship of the ring and it was at the very end in Lothlorien when it just stops all together, now it won't play any DVD at all. |

I assign this sore throat that had all winter to arrive, but instead decided to show up right after I get home and start hanging out with friends again. Ugh.

Either this morning, this English course or public transport. I think "bad luck" would be the best choice, though.

I was overly enthusiastic about Noggie being in Romania and having no philosophy lesson that I woke up two hours later and when got to school got reminded that philosophy is the second lesson and not the first, which was civics. So now I have two hours of hanging around to survive. :/

Thanks. I think your situation was worse. Though I did come to more annoying situations later today: my mother disided to give away my old bycycle even claiming that its tyres were full. Well, the bike is in a horrible shape and I think that anybody who cares about something shouldn't ride it. Some extra stress...

Mordor can have rainy days
I absolutely hate rainy days that aren't freezing cold nor just wet. It's that muggy feeling that I detest...
Personally I think rain is soo over rated

Negative reps sent by someone hiding behind a fake name! I just got a rep. from a thread in which I got in a heated disscussion, and now more than a month later I get a negative rep. signed by a Downer who doesn't exist! The reason for the rep. was because I didn't use intelligent language! All cowards who don't have a life are assigned to the most remote regions of Mordor.

Trying so hard not to be spoilered for the results of I'd Do Anything and doing so, so well and then still get spoilered anyway. I so wanted it to be a surprise.

I hope you weren't disappointed by the result though. Without wanting to get slanderous.. Jodie seemed to get closer to the "tart with a heart" side of Nancy...

No I must admit that right from the beginning I saw her as being Nancy. I thought Sam had got very good by the end though so I wouldn't have minded if she'd won, but Jodie was perfect right from the start and only ever improved.

Football. Specifically on the television, when you naively assumed that your country not being involved might mean the stuff wasn't going to be rammed down your throat ad nauseam. Beyond tedious.
At least we are saved the rampant nationalism this time so it doesn't look like half the country is going to a BNP rally. Just hope the weather holds so I can spend the time in the garden.

Spiders. Especially ones that jump or crawl on you. Even the thought of it sends shivers down my spine...

I assign take-home diagnostic essays to be handed over at the fourth day of classes, diagnostic quizzes on topics you're just about to learn in class so naturally you don't have any idea about but turns out the results of which will be recorded, and the fact that the first week of school is busy and tiring enough to give you a serious case of Downs withdrawal.

I don't really like spiders either Brinniel... But I can't stand snakes! Even garter snakes! I was riding on my Papa's lawnmower tractor today out in his yard and there was this little snake that slithered as fast as it could across the lawn... It scared me half to death (Or not death...) It was scary...
I live in a place with big moose that could kill you if you bug them, wolves, and bears that could rip your head off... I'm not scared of big animals, just snakes...

At least I don't mind snakes. The little garter ones in particular don't deserve to be assigned to Morder as they're actually kind of cute. Whenever my cat catches one (always unharmed), I love to pick it up and put it back in its home because those snakes always tickle my finger and I can't help but laugh hysterically. I think the only thing about snakes that's scary is the element of surprise when they slither out of nowhere...that always makes me jump a bit. Continuing back on topic.... I assign dropping and breaking one of your souvenirs from Prague. It was a blown egg so as much as my mom thinks she can glue pieces back together, there's no way it can possibly be fixed. You know, I managed to keep that egg safe all the way back on the train to the Netherlands then on several flights back to the US...only for me to drop it as I'm trying to find a place to put it. I'm so mad at myself about it...I've been rather clumsy lately dropping drinks left and right. Not to mention, I broke something in a similar manner last December...

Snakes are just so creepy... I'm thankful that there is no snakes in Alaska...
Anyway, breaking things are not good. I broke the lid of my very expensive bone china teapot while reaching into our china cabinet to get some tea out of my tea caddy... so sad.

Drivers Ed! We just finished taking drivers Ed classes and I can't believe what a waste of time it was. All the teacher made us do in the class room was take a bunch of tests, which she didn't grade, and tell us to study on our own! I do so hate government programs!
I would be completely satisfied if my parents would drive me everywhere, but unfortunately that's not going to happen.

All kinds of flying monsters, except for birds. Especially flies that wouldn't die despite being hit several times with a swatter.

I'd like to assign hearing the phone ring when it isn't ringing. I work part-time at a Christian radio station, and most of the music that plays is worship music. I suppose it's the abundance of tambourines that makes the difference, but it drives me crazy because I'm staring at the silent phone and hearing it ring! Grr!
