I like the meeting Garen first, maybe a little redemption-?- then suicide. If you want to.
Morai, I think now would be a good time for Harlon to spin into action. [ February 08, 2003: Message edited by: Amanaduial the archer ]

I thought we'd find Sultir first. But, if you want me to, I post that, then the "time warp" then the beginning of the rescue.

Time warp? Sounds drastic! If we do something along the lines of:

I think we've got a plan, Stan . Now we need to be putting it into action, ne? The scenario for the rescuers is pretty much set.
BTW, Doug, I LOVE your new avatar. [ February 09, 2003: Message edited by: Ithaeliel ]

I love your new avatar too, doug!
Anyways, Jemel and Aniram are ready when you all are! And of course, Aniram would not mind scouting/following. Who will post to get us on our way? When/who is going to find Sultir? I believe only Feadhros and Jemel know exactly who is following them. Aylwen

I posted on the tenth, and we found Sultir in it. Hope that's okay.
Where have all the good guys gone? I Haven't seen Garen or Dragoneyes in a while, and then there is Ith, Susan, and I, and was that all our good guys? *Sigh* Aylwen

Oh, I'm around. Unfortunately, I started out in this "high voice" style of writing, and that makes it difficult to make "We rode along for a few days. I wondered what -insert name here- was up to." kind of posts. It's me own fault, of course, but things have been developing slowly. *shrug*
Of course, if any of you are exceedingly bored, I'll be happy to fill your ear with tales, All you gotta do is ask!

Lets Get Ready to Rumble
Now that we're getting a little closer to the climax in our RPG, I think we should establish who does not mind being killed or injured, and whose characters are off-limits for getting bashed up. Skara - would like him to stay unharmed. if I change my mind later, will let you know, but in the meantime, pls nobody post saying that they have just chopped off his head. Others? Remember the Easterlings Rogar and Bór are NPCs, so anything goes for them.

Right; as I said before, Rű-Sahn might be wounded in battle before he falls on his own sword, that's fine by me since he'll die anyway. As for Feadhros, he may be wounded, but please, nothing too grave (severed limbs, etc.), and he's not to be killed. That's the story for my characters.
Thank you, Ith

I think it may slightly defeat the point of the expedition is Nuhrive herself was to die. Id rather she stayed alive.
Good post doug. Elves and Garen, you can work with that uneasiness. When exactly are you going to catch up with us? We decided we were going to use plan number one. This one: Quote:

I LIKES IT. Good suggestion, Amanaduial, and also whoever thought of it originally (if that was someone else). I see how it can work, now. The Elves could hear arguing and Nuhrive's cries. The moment will also be an escalation of the problems in the Easterling group as well.
So, I guess we need another post getting the Elves closer, and then Nuhrive (somehow) escapes. After the battle, we have to sort out when the RPG will end, and what will happen to the characters. Will be very interesting for me - I've never actually finished an RPG before!

I know that I have nothing to do with your RP, but I have extremely enjoyed reading it, and could you tell me if you're going to keep going with it? I am waiting in suspense... I really do like it a lot. It's my favorite of all those I have read so far.

BUT IT WILL NEVER END IF NOBODY GOES TO POST! Come on, now, it's been at least a week. Have a care! We're stalling at the best part- the battle! Post, someone... please!

Yes, Brinniel said you were on holiday at the moment. Are you interested in playing an easterling in a new game? If so, do PM me and/or Brinniel.
Ill take on Garens character if youd like. I would like to see what happens between them and twould certainly be a shame if it was to go to waste. Have you got a more solid plan about that? Ivy, Morai; Nura is still being held by yonder large unknown easterling, I think 'tis Blair actually, and the fools plan isnt really in action yet. We need first hand posts there really, from Nuras view or Harlons.

Hey, I'm here. I've been checking too, and there hasn't been much. I'm more than happy to finish this RPG. Even though I seem to have only one good foot. Ithiliel, where did you get that impression?

Garen! You are here!
Well, as for the "lameness:" in your character profile, you said that you'd been injured in a fight and walked with a slight limp. You also said in one of your posts that you wouldn't be much use in battle. If I emphasized the limp thing too much, I'm so sorry. Should I edit? Aman: I'll reveal the relationship and past between Ru and Garen after the next person posts, then Garen can wing it from there (PM me if you aren't sure). I'm not going to post twice in a row, because technically you're not supposed to... As I said before, incentive, anyone? Suspense relief? Just go ahead and post! I apologize once again for my absense. It seems that my computer doesn't have enough memory to run my internet server. I'm in the process of getting a new server or a new computer.
EDIT: Just a reminder, Harlon isn't dying. Oringinally he was leave the battle with only a broken arm, but now a concussion too. (Hopefully something he can recover from!) [ March 25, 2003: Message edited by: Morai ]

Did I really say I wouldn't be any good in a fight? I've been thinking that that's about the only time I'd be any good, in the company of Elves. But it's ok. I do have a slight limp, and you don't need to edit.
I like your latest post. Excellent. One small issue; we're descended from men of the north (what will be men of Rohan) hence the battlecry "Amrűnadan, Adan i Lórien" (Northmen, Men of Lorien) Are you going to die here, or shall I bring back? I don't really see that you've offended against either my house or the Elfwood, so I won't kill you unless you want me to.

You can try to bring Ru-Sahn back if you wish. The plan was for him to be redeemed, and then discover he has wasted so much of his life on hatred that he won't want to go on facing what he's done, so he'll kill himself. But leave the last part to me, fi you please !
I'll edit the Gondor thing, too. Thanks for the info! Wonderful post, Garen. Very nice. Great job. [ March 26, 2003: Message edited by: Ithaeliel ]

I'd just as soon you see the error of your ways and come live a full life among the men of Lórien. Seeing as how this character is my nick, and I've actually got a whole history for him, I'm planning to use him for other games as the opportunity arises, and another character from there would be cool. But whatever you want to do is fine by me.

Now I'm not so certain about what I want to do with Ru-Sahn... he's in a good position to kill himself, but the way you made that last post put him in a position to go back as well. I'm leaning toward the latter; I really don't like to kill off my characters, but I need to contemplate it a little.

I don't really expect it to be a problem, with the rather leisurely pace we've adopted, but I'm going to be unavaliable for the next few days. Travelling. If something desperate comes up, anyone who wants can carry Garen along.

You guys, I'm really sorry for intruding on your thread, but I really like your RPG, and would just like to ask: is it gonna die? Because isn't there a policy that it dies after 14 days of no posts or something? And it's been 11...
