Who to vote for today?
++Treebeard
He's sooo slow. It's impossible to get anything done around camp or make any decisions that involve him because he requires multiple days to decide. And the only thing that ever seems to get him excited is the prospect of beating down Saruman - other than that, he is almost lethargic about his opinions on people. |

He says he's fastest of the ents, but he lies. I've beated him in every contest where we're both in it. He's an usurper and an infidel! Purge him from this island! *puts on Balrog Mask* *Goes into evil mode*

++Lotho
Many excellent reasons have been given here. I'd like to add that Lotho is the second most treacherous hobbit on this island. Just ask anyone who was in the Shire when he was "Chief." He's an egotistical, unpleasant, demanding and selfish character. Away with him!

Gil, Sam will probably be one of the last to go...he's loyal, works hard & puts up with a lot.
Personally I'm going with ++Grima++ this time. The man creeps out Eowyn, is a sniveling, shriveling wimp, you never know when he's going to switch tribes & he's still snow-white despite all this sun. There's something not right about that. |

It's time for Frodo to start doing some work around camp, rather than having all his meals lovingly cooked and brought to him. Every time Frodo is delegated a task, there is always one other who volunteers to do it for him.
The poor guy needs a rest. So, for his own sake: ++SAMWISE GAMGEE

For me, it's the hair that's decided it. Bleugh. He's not just creepy, he's greasy. I know it's the wilds, I know it's hard to keep clean, but really, the man looks like he rinses his locks in Mazola.

Well I am sorry about Haldir but since you come to mention it - while the prospect of an infernal quadrangle developing with Eowyn is quite amusing (Grima, Faramir and Aragorn seeking or eluding her affections) ... Grima is creepy and slimy - and with hair like that it has to be true that ..he smells

Oh, come on, Wormtongue is far more objectionable than cretinous Lotho Pimple. After all, he quite possibly ate him, and definitely murdered him...

++FRODO
He whines way too much. "Sam I don't think I can go on" "this burden is getting too heavy" " I can't remember life at home" All such quotes are demoralizing the camp, except Sam of course. So we need to get rid of this dead-weight

I can't say I'm sorry to see Mr Bad Skin go; now let's turn our attention to Mr Bad Hair.
I still say ++Grima must go, straight back to civilisation and a shampoo and set at Vidal Sassoon, if they'll let him through the doors, that is.

What a disturbing development. The island nearly turned against poor Sam yesterday. There is indeed a dark force at work to cause so much mischief. But I don't think it's Sauron, at least not directly. Gollum (well, movie Gollum) turned Frodo against Sam once, and I think he's back at his old tricks again. For my original reasons and this new bit of treachery, I am voting ++GOLLUM again today. Let's get this troublemaker off the island.

It was clearly outlined in the rules that no weed or drug of any kind was allowed on the island, yet Celeborn is obviously stoned at nearly all hours of the day. Delibrate Rule-breaking deserves a cast-off. |

Blast! Though I still long to punish Grima, the bad taste of these types in voting for Celeborn, one of the most underrated Elves we see, leads me to vote for ++SAURON to protect him; although I like Sauron too...
Lay off Celeborn! Give him some respect. It was, after all, he who helped drive Sauron's forces first out of Eriador in the siege of Ost-in-Edhil, and then out of Mirkwood. Aside from that, he's useful. While his wife wanders about giving away bits of her hair and making dark prophecies, it's Celeborn who gives useful gifts, like little boats to navigate the island's rivers. Plus he has silver hair.

Why are you voting all the interesting contestants off? Not only is it dreadfully predictable, it's also spoiling the show.
The Golden Rule of Reality TV is that you need friction and arguments between the contestants to make the show entertaining ( ). And it's the bad guys that cause all the tension and upsets. By voting them all off, you are simply making the show less entertaining to watch. After all, who wants to watch a load of folks sitting around all day agreeing with each other and pulling together? We need to keep some of the evil ones in to balance out all the boring good ones. So I will vote, yet again, for one of the nicest but dullest of them all. ++SAMWISE (nice but dull) GAMGEE Kind, hard-working, loyal and trustworthy he may be. But he does not exactly make compulsive viewing. And, as noted before, I want to see how Frodo copes without his little servant running around after him catering to his every whim.
