Another corpse speaks to the corpse; living folks please ignore these grave matters
It was no trouble, Lommy, I didn't take it as offensive (though I didn't like the formulation much, to be honest ). Well, and yes, language can be a difficult thing, I can quite understand that. No problem with that. You can read on the game thread what I replied when they brought it back.

In answer to questions about my posting volume -
three of my classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays; hence, I'm in school from 2PM-10PM GMT those days. Fridays I have only one morning class; from then onwards I'm free ('til bedtime at about ...7 am Saturday, GMT). I can be expected to post a lot more on MWF than on TTH. Actually, that'll only be true for two more weeks, then...THE SEMESTER ENDS! |

And I know many people would tell me that I should shut up with my 2˝ month summer-holiday. But unluckily that holiday can be seen in my salary every month of the year when I'm as well working... ------- Later toDay I will be a bit less involved as my daughters are here spending a weekend for a long time (yes, Lommy too, but we will just have to stay calm and not talk of the game until it ends), but I try to do my best anyhow.

I'm back! My laptop has resumed charging up fortunately. I shall take some time to read over the current posts and will be hopefully more active from now on. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. (hehe sounds like a delay at the airport )

I don't think there has been a game where all the gifted have been quite so effective - to have a Seer and ranger alive at the end is remarkable .. and of course a Hunter can only have full effect when attacked - so that was a very nice lure, Roa, which bought us an extra day .. unfortunate that we used it to kill Leggy not Xyzzy ......

Here be my rant
i jsut realized, in every werewolf game i've been in, not once has the seer ever dreamed about me... but still it was a good game, i participated more but you silly villagers still lynched me, i probably won't be a wolf for awhile because i'm not a stable character and every mod wants a good game... but still...
i remember my first game, i was lynched first day, i was so unbelivably mad at everyone... i know its a game but it hurts at time when people never understand you so yarr... i'm ready for the next game, i have goal in WW and i won't stop playing it till i achieve this goal.

Mith - that's because we had a fantastic hunter & seer, and the ranger had a good "mentor" for most of the game!
I think the wolves were at a disadvantage, so I won't gloat too much. The way the roles fell, with the amount of time the good guys could put in vs. the bad guys, and that first missed kill; well, I think perhaps no one could have won in those circumstances. |

I think we will begin to get used ot you participating more ... and Xyzzy has stepped into your old role so no going back But I knew I was innocent and you were so fixated on me that it looked like you were stitching me up. Then Legate's theory that if you weren't a wolf I probably was helped me suspect him.... And no wonder paranoia set in ... with so many innocents after my blood! .... at least the suspicion would have kept me alive at night .... had circumstances been other ... do you realise that the villagers killed as many innocents than the wolves? Apart from the token mod kill to get the ball rolling they only got Brinniel and Roa which was rather a pyrrhic victory. So could the ranger and hunter were able to communicate it seeems ... during the day or all the time? Was Roa an "intelligent" hunter? Were there any other tweaks we are unaware of .. cursed for instance?

Well anyway, good game it was! I liked the roleplaying, at least at start, later, as probably always, it proved to be unmaintainable as the thrill of the game and the rush rose. Shame that there were too few people and Menel couldn't use his "special surprises", though the game was, as someone already said, paranoid enough even without them. Mainly because of Nogrod, whose rumbling even till the end about lovers and false seers and double-plots was really great
Gil, buddy, sorry for sending you to lynch, but I thought Lommy needs to have chance to speak, even though she was the most suspicious to me... however, seeing this matter was eventually solved by our great Hunter, it went to good end... even the dead may rejoice. I would also like to congratulate to our Ranger Rikae for bright thinking and also to Mac the Seer, who bought me by his innocent behavior near the very start. And many apologizes to Six for suspecting him - but reviewing your posts, it seemed really like a "simple" wolvish behavior - and when you yourself said you don't think you are much into the game yet, I didn't expect any complicated schemes from you as a wolf and took your unfortunate innocent behavior as a newbie-wolvish performance. It paid me off, though, I ended lynched for suspecting you - so you may feel satisfaction on my part. And xyzzy, I understand what you meant by having trouble with people using the "in the games before, this person behaved differently..." reasoning. I also didn't like it when I played for the first time (this is only my second game), but now I realized if you want or not, if you know the people, it at least partially influences your thinking, even subconsciously, even if you don't want it. But I don't like when people use it too much (you cannot even analyze a Wolf trying to cast suspicion on someone because of this if you don't know the person as well), though if you played as many games as most of these folks did, it is probably only natural for them. So, the final thanks once again to Menel for good game and the question is... when does the next game start?

And you have never been in a game where two innocents tore each other apart? No ? Well you ahve been lucky!!! And you do have to bear in mind that Gil had participated so much more in recent games which is great but it is disconcerting ....... sinceI knew he couldn't be the seer (because I was innocent) , it did make me think he might be a wolf ..
And the last minute thing freaked me out. The first time Nogrod played he was Seer and I was a wolf and we really had this amazing "who blinks first" moment when either could have got the other lynched.. I have a feeling we killed Gil again then ... Mus tswitch the default setting form "if in doubt kill Gil"

the main reason i focused so hard on you is that it ticked me off with your small posts with your defense and nobody paid attention to me, i was beginning to get sick and tired of being ignroed in every WW game for nonsense that i tried to bring flavour into the mix, and i still got ignored and worngly-lynched... again... oh and rikae, it is up to the mod, usually they would want to spice it up and pick people they think will be good for the certain role, i have been a wolf once - killed second day, so i'm a half-fenris wolf - and hunter once, where i was lynched off by the village, and after my lynching, the vilalge basically screwed themselves over...

Hmmm... it seems the post-game discussion is going on in two places... Menel, would you like to specify which place you'd prefer the chat to take place in?

OK, post-game discussion will take place on the game thread from now on, not the admin thread.
