As for career I will be a non-practicing wizard.

What about a triangle?

Instruments?
But I can't play any! Okay then... a Pipe Organ. Suits my personality, well enough- and should be easy enough to kill me with. And... hmm.... for my career I shall be a Pirate. One game late, I know... but possibly all the funnier for it.

Sure thing, Valesse. A traditional game sounds wonderful. I shall be a double-bass playing publican. Groovy!

Why, of course, Kitanna. You'd make lucky number ten.
Thank you all for signing up, if I could get your career and musical mechanism Kitanna we can start this as early as this afternoon. *Prodes Gil-Galad and grins*

Mmm I see tuba is taken, how disappointing. In that case I'll be the didgeridoo playing hermit.

Awesome, thanks!
Before we start, if those who have already joined would please vote on the rules so everything is clear and dandy: 1) Retractable votes? 2) Traditional length nights (as opposed to the abbreviated 12 hour nights) 3) Double lynching? Because of time, I'm opting for shorter nights and double lynchings to be active, though, since it's only fair (because I'll be looooong dead before you can double lynch anyone ) that y'all players pick and choose. Currently the "Magic hour" is set to be 3 o'clock CST (2 EST and so on.) Please remember: With the abbreviated nights that would mean that some days will start ante meridiem, and others will start post meridiem.

Yes... it would be nice to have a full game, however my window to moderate is now down to 9 days. Though, I suppose it would be up to Gil to take up the entire rest of the running of the game (if it were to run over the time I have), which I'm sure he could do near effortlessly.
Perhaps I'm just being paranoid about time. Still accepting applications.

Well I am happy with what you decide. I would say that retractable votes favour the village more than the wolves and if we have a 3 wolves and only 10 players overall then maybe we should go with them.
Doubl lynchings can go either way. I am anti the contrived mass lynchings but think there can be a case for double lynchings. But with a small village it wouldmake an interesting dynamic. From a personal point of view, the 24 hour days would be better since I would have my active spell later in the day. But if the 12/24 makes the game easier for you then I will just have to make hasty judgements....

I am for retractable votes, just for the near-deadline fun of it.
If time allows I would prefer traditional length nights and no double lynchings. It gives playing such a nice continuous flow. |

-- Retractable Votes
++ Double lynchings I don't care either way about traditional night lengths or 12-hour nights.

Given that there's only one gifted with the potential to reveal him/herself, I suppose that double lynchings will be acceptable in this game.
Whatever you want, Valesse.

NO Double-Lynchings.
I cannot say, after Nilp's game, how strongly I dislike them. I disliked them on principle before that, but I have a personal issue with them now. I prefer Non-Retractable votes, I think, but I don't really care. 24/12 cycles are fine with me... though I'd opt for the 24/24 version if given the choice.

If I get of the fence, preferred option is 24/24, retractable votes and no double lynchings but I uphold on principle the divine right of moderators
Don't suppose TP would honour us with his rather fabulous presence ?

Just a couple of ones:
- If we have only 10 villagers and one gifted, should there respectively be only two wolves? Otherwise the villagers are in quite a desperate position to begin with - not helped by the double-lynch option (three argumentative wolves, 1/3 of the population after the first kill) will be just happy to dance others to double-lynchings? - Quote:
- If three wolves, then: -- double lynchings ++ retractables - If two wolves, then anything goes - Looking nice indeed! Just waiting for the starting whistle!

Valesse, as I am out of Cailin's game, I have time to join yours. So, if there is room (and you allow me to), I would like to play. Is that all right with you?

Don't know if they have daylight saving, otherwise EST is GMT +5 so 2 EST would be 9 GMT

Um, 3pm CST is 4pm EST, not 2... and EST is currently at -4 GMT because of DST, so it's 8 GMT, not 9. (CST is currently at -5 GMT)
I vote -- Double lynchings ++ LIMITED rectractables (as in, 1 per day) As for the shortened night, it might be unfair to the wolves to have one it they are in drastically different timezones, so ++ 24/24 days/nights Also, Nogrod, keep in mind that you still have a gifted who could reveal at anytime- the wolves would be terribly disadvantaged if the seer came out in the beginning and then there was only one against 7. It's be just about impossible to win at that point, and really it's no fun to win if your opponent can claim the set up was against them from the start. (I speak from experience on this.)

Why, Glirdan, of course you are welcome to play!
As of -right now- it seems like the consensis is 24/24 schedule with no double lynching and retractable votes. Quote:
Nogrod: If by the end of the day I can get at least two more players, there will definitely be three wolves, if not I'm going to be tapping on Mith's standing and playing Eru. (I.E.: flipping a coin .)

And Roa, thanks for the correction. Hopefully Macalaure caught that too. PS. Why don't you all just stick to the GMT? That one doesn't save any daylight, ever. It just is what it is and can be trusted all around the year, around the globe...

Okay, well then. I shall take my personal dream and incorporate it to this game: I shall be the town musician, instrument, I'll let you choose between Clarinet or Sax (I major in both).
++Retractable votes -- Double Lynchings (I have a personal vendetta against them...) and I don't care about the time thing. It doesn't affect me really.

This is against my better judgement...
...but since Boromir88 isn't playing.
I'll be a Condottieri who plays the flute. Limited retractable votes might be okay. I don't really care about anything else.

Thank you Kuru.
I'm good with anything but I do like 24 hour nights. I was in the first game and the nights seemed a bit too abbreviated for most people.

Are we beginning today? I presume that we will begin with a night phase, as is tradition. However it may speed things up to avoid that and let the wolves communicate the first day. It would save you at least one day.

I'm going to have to opt for skipping the first night because of time issues, actually, but yes, today at three the game will begin.
Expect your roles soon.
