Well, the very first hobbit in history was very clumsy. He kept dropping things on his feet, so they were always swollen, and one day, he noticed he was going bald, and tried that Rogain stuff. He was evil because no one liked his clothes and therefore would not let him come to their fancy parties. The reason he made the ring was so that he'd have at least one fancy thing that might get him accepted into the dress parties, but it didn't work.
