All of the Items were kept in Imladris, except for the Elfstone (given by Galadriel).

I'm going to say Star of the North because it was not given to Aragorn II?

Ok, I'll give it to Tar-Palantir 'cause he got the right item. The others were items Aragorn had a hereditary right to exept Elfstone which was given to him by Galadriel (obviously it became a heirloom but wasn't that for Aragorn).
Hope that clears it up! Carry on, T-P!

why thank you - that was a tough one! I already know this one has beings in addition to items, but I think you can handle it.

Possibably the Mirror Of Galadriel because it is the only one on the list that isnt one thing. It is water in a dish with magical properties. The others are actual things: Ring, Horse, Spirit(Eru), and a Bow...

I thought this was 'odd item out. I don't regard Shadowfax or Iluvatar as items, but maybe people disagree.

The Mirror of Galadriel. It is the only one that was not a gift to others from Galadriel/her people.

You are correct TheSaucepanMan.
The answer to the other one was that they all had but one master, except Eru who had no master. I thought it was a neat one.

Pipe? All others were useful to Aragorn during the War of the Rings but his pipe was just something he had for amusement.

Annunfuiniel has it.
All of them were used by, and useful to, Aragorn in the War of the Ring. The pipe was used by him, but played no specific role in the Quest of the Ring and the battle to defeat Sauron.

Narsil because it was forged by a dwarf all the others are forged by an elf.

Maybe so (I can't be sure about Gúthwinë, was it forged by elves?), but that's not the answer I'm looking for...

Sting - Bilbo game it that name, while the others gained their names from their creators/forgers.

Orcrist is the only one that was worn by immortal and mortal folk. Once it belonged to the Elves of Gondolin, later to the Trolls, and after that to Thorin Oakenshield.

No right answer yet...
I think that Sting was also borne by both immortal and mortal subjects. Hint: think about their qualities

Sting is just a knife?
Or is it that Gúthwinë was standard issue grade and the others were all special/magical? [ March 09, 2003: Message edited by: Tar-Palantir ]

Yes, finally! All the others had blades that gleamed or glowed or shimmered or whatsoever in a "magical" way but Gúthwinë was just an ordinary sword, no magic there.
Well done T-P (may I call you that? ), please go on.

No, because it was not a sword made by elves but dwarves. Only elf swords made in Gondolin glowed. But I think the answer is still correct because Gúthwinë was the only sword who had nothing magical.

There is another instance also where it is described as shining with a white light (or something similar) when Aragorn wielded it.

Aeglos - A weapon was also named so.
Elanor - Sam's daughter was named likewise.
